Reptiles and lighting?Yep the shop light fixtures work fineYou can get chrome paint and that would be reflective, but I have just used aluminum foil taped insideYou really do want a 2nd light in there but it does not have to a reptile UV bulbYou can either us the normal light, I like using plant/aquarium bulbs in addition for a wider and fuller light spectrum.Other related question

It has some blueish/greenish colored areas ,but I have no idea if that\'s turquoise or some tinted enamelHow should I clean the silver? Should I assume it\'s sterling silver? Does that make a difference? It\'s old and badly tarnished.thanks!Yeah you can use jewelry cleaner or do this: Cover the inside bottom of a heat-proof glass dish bowl with a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side upPlace the tarnished silver in the bottom of the dish, on the aluminum foilAdd 1 heaping tablespoon of baking soda, and then slowly pour boiling water to cover the pieceThe tarnish will gradually collect on the aluminum foilRemove your silver, rinse thoroughly and dryIf you live near a jeweler, she/he can tell you if its turquoise and what sort of silver it is, before you even clean it.Other related question

Sounds nothing like a doorbell and more like someone farting with a aluminum can up they\'re rear!! Anyone else have this stupid noise for a doorbell on Yahoo Messenger? It sucks, so does the new home page! They should leave stuff alone!Yep, same thing hereThey changed the sound when they introduced version 8 I believeYou can change this under Messenger Preferences Alerts and Sounds, but the doorbell is not longer a doorbell, but like you describeThe only thing I can think of is to go to a previous version of messenger and copy the doorbell.wav from that version into the new one and you will have the old sound backMicrosoft does the same thing to its products, they should just leave well enough alone.Other related question

Can i make lasagna in an aluminum baking pan? ThanksYeah, I buy disposable alluminum pans to make lasagnia for some of my catering, just spray it all over with non stick cooking sprayI know tomato sauce and alluminum don\'t go together, just take out the leftovers and put into a non reactive container for longer term storageOh and if you are covering with foil during baking process tent it so the cheese doesn\'t stick to italluminum foil is much more reactive then the thicker alluminum baking pans so keep away from this.Other related question

A package of aluminum foil contains 47 of foil, which weighs approximately 7.6 Aluminum has a density of 2.70 What is the approximate thickness of the foil in millimeters?Yeah, units are keyCould assume 1cm x 1cm area.but you know what assuming leads tooOh, and could also assume to be 47 grams of foil and density of 2.70 g/cm^3 to make it easier.Other related question

Can I make this casserole in a cake pan?Yeah, you can make it in that cake pan, no problemJust take a paper towel and do a light rub with canola or olive oil around the inner sides and bottomThis will help prevent the rice from sticking to the pan and damaging the non-stickAnother user suggested using PAM spray in itwhile that sounds like a good idea, you don\'t want to do it, especially not in a non-stick cake panCooking sprays when baked actually cause a lining to form on your pan (nearly impossible to clean off) and will ruin the non-stick propertiesDefinitely stick to using oilUnder ideal circumstances, I would recommend not using your cake pan to cook other foods in it thoughCooking foods other then breads and batters in those pans can potentially (doesn\'t mean they will, but they can) ruin the pan for the intended purposeThis sounds silly, but you could always make an insert for your casserole using aluminum foil to make it smaller. If you have a cast-iron pan, or oven-safe pots, that would be another option.Other related question

Fascinating isn\'t it? History repeated itselfOnly it wasn\'t Hilter this time, it was George WBush, and you\'re living during this eraYou can look back and wonder how the German public was so placid to the attrocities, and yet, here we are.Why do we not question? Why do we do so little?Yeah, and calling the US the homeland and naming a cabinet department Homeland Security sounds an awful lot like the fascist terms Fatherlandand MotherlandPeople didn\'t question the war because they were motivated by fear, and listened to the unquestioning mediaEven the New York Times reported the aluminum tubes and yellow cake stories on its front pages as fact.Other related question

I saw somewhere that you can line the bottom of your oven with parchment paper to avoid crumbs and spillsThoughts?Yeah that will burn for surejust put foil down if you have a pie or something that is drippyRemove the foil after you bake the pieMost things do not make a mess in your oven, you have to be a sloppy cookThat, or you are using the wrong cookwareToo shallow a pan for a cake, oops! Another thing you can do is line the rack, rather than the floor of the ovenIt is easier to do as the rack comes out, and its not right next to the heating elementHappy cooking~!Other related question
