A package of aluminum foil contains 47 of foil, which weighs approximately 7.6 Aluminum has a density of 2.70 What is the approximate thickness of the foil in millimeters?Yeah, units are keyCould assume 1cm x 1cm area.but you know what assuming leads tooOh, and could also assume to be 47 grams of foil and density of 2.70 g/cm^3 to make it easier.Other related question

It has some blueish/greenish colored areas ,but I have no idea if that\'s turquoise or some tinted enamelHow should I clean the silver? Should I assume it\'s sterling silver? Does that make a difference? It\'s old and badly tarnished.thanks!Yeah you can use jewelry cleaner or do this: Cover the inside bottom of a heat-proof glass dish bowl with a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side upPlace the tarnished silver in the bottom of the dish, on the aluminum foilAdd 1 heaping tablespoon of baking soda, and then slowly pour boiling water to cover the pieceThe tarnish will gradually collect on the aluminum foilRemove your silver, rinse thoroughly and dryIf you live near a jeweler, she/he can tell you if its turquoise and what sort of silver it is, before you even clean it.Other related question

It\'s a MicronSo far it\'s been a week without a capStill works after drawing a line or two, but I\'m afraid it\'ll dry up for good soon.It was a teensy bit expensive so I\'d like to save it if I canThank you!Wrap that end of the pen in aluminum foil, or store the pen in a zip lock type bag.Other related question

Its an aluminum MTB frame, ser iw1f00266, with a taller, skinner down tube than you would normally see on a bikeAnybody know how I can go about doing this? I can only narrow it down to about thirty manufacturers.Wow, you got it that far down?! Can you provide a color, whether it has a replaceable rear dropout, the headset configuration, the BB style, and whether it is a hardtail, softtail, or full suspension? If full suspension can you say whether the pivots are ball bearing, metal sleeve, or plastic sleeve? Does it have disc mounts? What is the rear wheel spacing? Pictures of all this would be bestThe serial number on a bike frame tells nothing of the company that sold itI CAN tell you that the frame was made by Ideal Bike in China- they have a Taiwan factory but don\'t build frames thereIdeal assembles bikes for dozens of companies on a regular basisThe number that you mention is actually a production number for the factory that is used for quality control, then the company that sells the bike uses it again as a serial numberA frame that you describe sounds like a standard catalog item for them so is probably used by a lot more than 30 companies, but the info I asked for can narrow it down- at least to give you an idea of qualityEDIT: Looking at the bike now, I can tell you the original bike was a KHSNow, I had to do a bit of research because KHS doesn\'t purchase aluminum or steel frames from anyone- they make their own- and there I found my errorIdeal frames are noted by ONE of a few letters prior to a numberYour number is iw, not just iSoooo, the bike is a KHS Alite series bike from 2001Not a terrible bike.Other related question

I am looking to upgrade from my aluminum frame road bike to a carbon frame road bikeI would like to know the advantages and disadvantages to a carbon frame, other than the fact that it costs moreAlso, should I consider one bike maker or brand over another, and whyDo any of the manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty on their carbon frames? Thanks.Wow, a lot of disinformation being posted as factLet me say this first: There is \'need\' and there is \'want\'Unless you are in the top 1% or above in cycling fitness for your age group, buying a carbon fiber frame will not make you any fasterTraining willThat being said, carbon fiber has taken over the high-end bike frame market and is making huge inroads to the mid-range market tooAll for good reasonCarbon fiber can be tuned for each portion of the frameWithout question the lightest and stiffest frames are carbon fiberI am a competitive cyclist who rides over 5000 miles a year and ride a seven year old Look brand (obsolete by today\'s standards) carbon-tubed bikeMy bike weighs a little over 19 lbs with pedals so it is far from the lightestThe frame is aluminum lug with carbon fiber tube construction joined together with an adhisiveI am also 6\'4 tall, 195 lbs and can generate well over 1000 watts for a short burstI have crashed this frame heavily without any damageCarbon fiber is very, very toughDon\'t believe all the carbon-hatersThe price is coming down every year so if you can\'t afford one this year, you may be able too next year.Other related question

ya I already have a color t.v and on of those crappy t.v antennas how can I amplfy the antenna to get more channels? should I try alummuim foil?Wow, you got all kinds of answers.none of them very goodYou need to spend some time looking at The Radio Ameteur\'s HandbookIn there are pages and pages of antenna theory and construction articles for various antennasMaterials you will need: Plexiglass for insulators aluminum tubing for elements Aluminum tubing or a long wood pole for a boom to mount the elements upon300 ohm ribbon cable for feedline, or 75 ohm coax feedline depending upon the type of driven element you choosea folded dipole requires 300 ohm feed a half wave dipole requires 75 ohm feed I would suggest you look into the idea of a 3 element beam antenna.not to hard to build at homeyou need to determine what channels the antenna is going to work on - that determines the length of the elementsThe driven element is the one that is most criticalEach Television Channel has a Frequency (Sound and Picture)Look this up on the Internet using a searchThen use L 468/Freq in Mhz to get the element length for a half wave dipoleThe director should be 8 percent shorterThe reflector should be 8 percent longerUse some of the spacing information in the handbook to get a rough idea of element spacing in inches.Other related question

Performing an experiment about Thermal expansionabout a aluminium tube and copper tube having a connection with steam water in one end of the tube and steam comes out on the other side.water is left inside the tube when the experiment is finishedand you conduct another experiment without removing the water inside the tubethe question is:Would the result be different if the condensed water was not drained from the expansion tube? why?Would the result of the second experiment (which we don\'t know anything about) be different? Well, lets say the second experiment is to determine the amount of water contained in the tubeWell, obviously, if water is left in the tube, then the results would be different if you dried it out first or not.Other related question
