whats the differance between the camaro rs and the camaro ss?The RS is an exterior package that can be ordered on all trim levels between 1LT and 2SSThis package includes 20 x 8 front and 20 x 9 rear flangeless, painted aluminum wheels with Midnight Silver finish, body-color roof ditch molding, high intensity discharge headlamps and RS unique tail lampsIt also includes the rear spoiler. The SS is a trim level that is best described as a wide scoping package that includes the LS3 or L99 engines depending on manual or automatic transmissions respectivelyThe 2SS has the 4 guage cluster and leather seating while the 1SS does not have either option but retains the LS3 or L99 enginesI hope this answers your questionJeff Morris, GM Customer ServiceOther related question

Replacing aluminum macbook base parts? The rubber things that keep the computer from sliding over and damaging surfaces? I don\'t know if they can be bought and replaced manually by the user, it might have to be taken to an Apple Store Genius Bar, where they can solve just about every single Mac issue, and this should be no exceptionYou can schedule a Genius Bar appointment here: bit.ly/jbxE2Other related question

The companies that make products seem to use unlimited amounts of packagingDoes one stick of gum really require 3 layers of wrapping? If all these water bottles are clogging our oceans, why aren\'t manufacturers of beverages required to stick with glass or aluminum bottles? Why I don\'t mind recycling, I feel there would be much less need for recycling if companies were regulated by how much waste they createdI also don\'t like it that recycling is voluntaryWhy aren\'t consumers and manufacturers alike compelled by law to cut down on waste and recycle? The responsibility for all the excess packaging also falls on the shoulders of the consumersManufacturers are responding to market demandAs we want cheaper food that is quicker to prepare and can sit on a shelf or in a freezer for years on end it requires more packagingI avoid excess packaging as much as possible, it did require changing my shopping habitsI buy fresh bread from the bakery, fresh produce from the farmers market and few processed foodsWe are eating healthier and producing a fraction of the waste I also write to some of my favorite brands and let them know I want recycled content in packaging and reduced packagingThere is a law that was put into place in the 70\'s, but it is rarely enforced due to lack of funding for oversightLook for the resource conservation and recovery act.Other related question

what is a practical uses for the process of identifying an unknown compound using chromatography.there are lots of different types of chromatography, since chromatography itself refers to seperation techniques which involve passing a mixture dissolved in a mobile phase through a stationary phase - in terms of paper chromatography the mobile phase is the water with the mixture dissolved in it and the stationary phase is the paperPaper chromatography is used to separate pigments - for example the different pigments in plant leaves such as chlorophyll etcit can also be used to seperate the different components of inks and dyesThin layer chromatography is similar to paper chromatography, apart from the fact that the stationary phase is not paper but a sheet of glass, plastic, or foil coated in an absorbant material such as aluminium oxide, silica gel or celluloseIt is used to analyse dye compositions in fabrics, for example during forensic analysis or to examine the purity of drinking water (i.echecking it is free of pesticides)It is also used to check the purity of pharmaceutical drugs Other types of chromatography include affinity chromatography, which is used to purify proteins in biochemistry, allowing them to then be identified using Mass-spec analyses.Other related question

| Why dont they use aluminum bats in Major League Baseball |

To me, that would be more pragmatic than using wooden onesAluminum bats don\'t break like the wooden ones, nor can they be corkedThey\'re even lighter from what I understandThis would save lots of trees in the long runIt\'s beyond me why they\'re commonplace in college baseball, yet I never hear of them being used in Minor League or Major League baseball. There are a couple of reasons: 1True wood bats cost a lot, but you might have noticed that MLB has a ton of money! They can afford the wooden bats2TraditionMLB started back in the 1800s, which was long before metal bats existedWhile there have been rule changes since then, the game is still basically the sameBaseball fans would never stand for such a significant change in the playing of the gameSince metal bats can hit the ball farther than wooden bats, this would mean that home run records and other accomplishments after the switch would not be comparable to older recordsFans and players would hate that3Metal bats can be dangerousBalls tend to come off of metal bats with more speedIn theory, this could increase the number of pitchers who are hit and injured by line drivesThis isn\'t as big of a consideration in high school and college, because hitters aren\'t as goodBut MLB hitters can crush the ball and do some real damage4Baseball bats are not a major cause of tree-wastageWe kill a lot more trees to make paper and lumber than we do to make baseball batsThe number of trees killed by bats is a drop in the bucketPlus, I believe that most bat companies maintain their own forest land, and they replant the trees that they cut.Other related question

| How do you make layer cakes lie flat |

When baking a two layer cake, the layers always have a curved hump in the middleIs there any way to keep this from happening? There are bands that you can get to place around the outside of the panSome of the bands I have seen get dampened and others are just put around the panThe idea behind the bands is that they slow down the heating of the pan so the cake does not get cooked faster at the edge causing it to set before it reaches the height of the rest of the cakeYou can try to duplicate the band by placing a double thickness of wet paper towel on a double or triple thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil Wrap the paper securely in the foil and wrap the band around the outside of the pan and secure with a clip or pinsYour band should not be any higher than the height of the panSince most cake pans are 2 inches begin by cutting a piece of foil that is 6 or 8 inches then fold it in half, place the wet paper towel in the center then fold the foil around the wet paper towelIt should workIf you want to avoid all this then just cut the hump off the cake before you remove it from the panJust use a long serrated knife and cut across the top of the pan.Other related question

I was warming some soup in my microwave then all of the sudden I heard a slight pop and alot of smoke came out so I turned on the vent - it was as if more smoke was produced once I turned the vent onThere was not any aluminum foil or utensils in the microwave and the soup was in a glass bowl. There are a couple of reasons why you microwave are smoking 1.It could just be food that is logged somewhere inside the cabinet and is been overcook every time you switch on the Microwave oven on or 2A loose terminal connection on your interlock switches 3Transformer busy packing upSee if the microwave paint flaked off; paint it again with anti-heat resisting epoxy or an alternate advised paintBurned deposits need to be scratched offClean the microwave properly and dont overcook the food Just replace the High Voltage Capacitor and High Voltage Diott IF ALL THE ABOVE DO NOT WORK JUST CALL PROFESSIONAL APPLIANCE REAPIR GUY.I would suggest you to go for dial and search.Other related question

Many years ago all canned food including soda and beer came in tin cans Later soda and beer converted to aluminum cans but today soup and all canned fruits or vegetables still come in tin cansWhy don\'t they use one metal (either tin or aluminum) for all cans?I think I know the answer but I want to see if others come up with the same reason. There are 2 main reasons for beer and soda packaged in aluminum rather than tin cans1tin can spoil the quality of these beverages2Aluminum cans can be manufactured with less seams, thus supporting the carbonation pressure better.Other related question

The blurriness began to dissipateMax could see nothing but a wall made of aluminum in front of himHis wrists ached, tied to the two poles behind himCoughing, he wondered were Sean wasThe aluminum room glistened of red, mirroring the image and intensity of a burning red light.“Sean!” He yelled with desperation, trying to break free“Where are you!”The door near him openedChills went up and down his spine as a mysterious foot stepped throughIt appeared to be a man cloaked with a gray hoodMax felt frightened, having a sense that the mysterious person might be Theris.“Who are you!” Max shouted with anger“You shall not speak unless spoken to,” the hooded man replied softly.“Why don\'t you untie me so I can pop that melon shaped head of yours.”The writing is decent but verboseI would focus on having a more active voiceFor example, say the blurriness dissipated instead of the blurriness began to dissipateAlso say Max saw only the aluminum wall instead of Max could see nothing but a wall made of aluminum in front of himThe fourth and fifth sentences seem weak, and I would completely re-work this part Perhaps you can use this passage to help the reader FEEL the settingMy suggestion is something like this: The industrious room drowned all his sanity in its bloody, red glowMax struggled to find his voice behind the adrenaline-rich veins beating in his neckI hope this is enough to get you started! Don\'t be discouraged by the revision processGood writers are also good editors I love to edit writing so feel free to leave a comment about the context of this passage and I will gladly write my own version for you.Other related question
