Any suggestions regarding adhesives? What gauge aluminum do you recommend?Unless you plan on buying some large and, relatively, expensive equipment it\'s best to leave this sort of thing to professionalsI was a framer for many years and have had many a customer who ruined their artworks trying to save money by doing things themselvesHowever, if you really want to go the D.I.Yroute, I seem to recall that 3M was marketing a double-sided adhesive sheet that you, first, laid down on your substrate (in this case, the aluminum) then laid the artwork on top, smoothing it out with a silicon squeegeeNot sure how archival it was thoughEverything has to be absolutely free of dust or it will leave bubbles and other surface imperfections in your finished piece.Other related question

every library has an alarm system, and each book always has a barcode (to scan) and yet many of these books go missing in the library i volunteer at! how on earth do i stop them from disappearing? how do these theives bypass our alarm system? from what i know removal of these scan codes do not stop the system from sniffing you out!goshand my head librarian is going crazy can u guys help??PS: i\'m not sure what category to put this so i\'m just gonna try out one i think receives lots of answerers.Unfortunately, thieves are always one step ahead of us all I, too, work in a libraryI\'ve actually caught people stealing booksWe had a magnetic tattle strip systems installedIt was easily to bypassAll the patron had to do was drop items into a bag with aluminum foil inside (several layers of)We lost a lot of Video Tapes that way back in the dayThis trick also works for basic RFID security as well (at least in some librariesnot so much in your local mall, which obviously use much better security devices)Also, there\'s nothing to prevent a patron from buying a demagnetizer from an online retailerThey can walk in with these, demagnetize a book, and walk outNo one the wiser3M told us they were working on a much better solution that would be available in 2008We\'re still waiting for them to tell us if it\'s ready.Other related question

Im referring to stuff like, chlorine and rubbing alochal, dry ice, and the aluminum foil and HCl one, if there are any others that give a gas build upCan u tell me what i need for it, and how safe (poison gases) it isIm looking for something like dry ice but not as hard to getI am planning on trying out an airsoft grenade for play.Unfortunately the only bomb that is safe is a bomb with dry iceUsing Chlorine or HCL (which also has chlorine) will make Cl2 a gas that will damage lungs by breaking down the mucas and killing small organisms that live in all of our lungsWith dry ice you can not predict enough to make a stable bombThere are too many variables like temperature of the air and water, psi capacity of the container, and amounts of ice and water being usedYour best best for an airsoft grenade is one of the cheap paintball grenades.Other related question

I need to make a thermos with natural materialsI can\'t use Styrofoam and the only materials I have are pieces of cardboard, aluminum foil, cotton balls, and Popsicle sticksI also have no artistic ability.Use the aluminum foil as your interior liner to hold fluid and the popsicle sticks as the structureSurround this with cotton balls and finally wrap it in cardboard as your outer linerThe key is to insulate your interior liner (aluminum foil) like a coat would a person to reduce thermal transfer to the surrounding environment.Other related question

| How to keep stuff like foil campfire packet meals from tasting like the aluminum |

I love the convenience of aluminum foil packet meals, like the ones you place in the coals of your campfire full of chicken and sauce and veggies, all sealed in one neat little packageThey\'re usually pretty delicious and hard to mess up, however, I find that many things cooked in foil tend to pick up that metallic well.foil tasteHow do you get rid of that, or better yet, prevent it? Can you coat the foil that touches the food in something to create a barrier? Is there an ingredient you can add that will eliminate the flavor? Any solutions are welcome, thank you!use name brand foilCheap foil can do that sometimesspray cooking spray on the foil before adding the food for a layer of protectionUsually high acid foods take on that taste the most, like anything with tomatoes or lemon.Other related question
