if an aluminum nucleus is scaled to be 1 cm, how far away are the outer electrons?the real radius of nucleus(Al) r0 cubic-root(Atomic mass) 1.25 10^-15 3 3.75 10^-15 m the covalent radius 118 pico m or 118 10^-12 m covalent r / nucleus radius 31.5 10^3 the outer electrons would be at approx315 metersCheck my calculations!Other related question

how many ELECTRONS ARE UNPAIRED IN THE OUTERMOST SHELL OF ALUMINUM (Al, ATOMIC NUMBER 13)?the respond is b) 3the 1st electron shell can basically carry 2 electrons: 2e) the 2nd shell can basically carry 8so if akuminum has 13 electrons: 2e) 8e) because of the fact the 1st shell holds 2 and 11 greater electrons are needed to get a finished of 13 electrons you should function greater shellsthe 2nd shell can basically postpone to eight however so which you like one greater shell to incorporate the extra 3 electrons: 2e) 8e) 3e) because of the fact the shell protecting 3 electrons is the outer shell, above the different shell(s) then 7 electrons are got here upon in the outermost shell of this factor.Other related question

What is the diffrence between a fly reel and a spear spool?the reel has all the gearsSpare spools just hold lineYou can have 50 spare spools with different weight fly lines loaded on them, but only one reel to snap them into If you need help answering this question, you probably don\'t need to buy any spare spools yet.Other related question

| How to measure the damage done to a surface |

I am participating in a science fair and our question is: Is the damage done to a surface proportional to the size of the sand striking itWe have our procedure, the only problem is my group is not sure how to measure the damage done to the surface of aluminum foil or a sheet of metalWe need to know this so that we can compare it to the mass of the grains of sand being blown at itAny help would be appreciated. The referenced website concerns finding crater sizs in the solar systemHowever, the method used should be the same as what you will use for your science fair project! - The basic trends you should expect to see in data are: 1) Greater masses make deeper cratersCrater diameter is a little more questionable - at these low speeds, the diameter of the crater is more a reflection of the diameter of the object2) Greater velocity will give you greater depth and diameterOnce again, the diameter is somewhat dependent on what you dropYou should get increasing diameter if you used something like a ball, because an increasingly large cross-section will sink into the surface3) The smaller the angle of impact, the shallower the craterHowever, the diameter will tend to increase in one direction, making an elliptical crater4) The more a surface is compacted, the smaller and shallower the crater will be----- I hope this is helpful.Other related question

Am trying to figure out which is whichKnow the loction of the egrVacuum line from egr runs to a little plastic thing with a round top on the passenger side of the engine at intake manifold level.Another rectangular potmetal looking thing with 2 lines running into the bigger exhaust source line hooked to the egr is at the front of the engine close to the egrWhich is the dpfe??? and what is the other one?? All 3 seem to constitute the exhaust gas regulator system somehow or anotherI suspect one or the other is causing the high gas consumption and other problemsAny suggestions for testing???The rectangular potmetal looking thing is actually aluminum and it is the DPFE sensorThe best way to test it is to take it to a dealer and have a scan tool hooked to itThe scan tool can provide a voltage reading to tell the technician whether or not the DPFE is workingThis sensor measures the amount of exhaust pressure that is traveling towards the EGR valve, and is a common problemIf yours is aluminum it has not been replaced, the new style DPFE is now plastic, due to the problem of corrosion from condensation in the exhaust, which will cause the old aluminum sensor to failThe plastic thing with the round top is the EGR vacuum regulator, this is in charge of sending vacuum to the egr valve to open it when neededYou really should not see a big change in fuel mileage with a defective DPFE, maybe some lurching while driving, but that still would be mildA trip to see a qualified technician could save you a lot of headache.Other related question

Will this recipe melt? The recipe will probably start to wilt, at the very least If at all possible pack the Chocolate Lasagna in an insulated bag or container along with an ice pack and store it in a shady spot until dessert timeThat Chocolate Lasagna dessert looks deliciousIf your friendly with the host or hostess you can also ask if they can store it in their fridge or they just may have an ice chest in which to store drinks and they might let you store the Chocolate Lasagna in the ice chestDo place the Chocolate Lasagna in a box wrapped in a layer or two of aluminum foil then in a couple of plastic bags so no moisture can get on your dessert from the ice chest.Other related question

DHS does NOT buy ammo for the militaryMost of what they have bought are hollow points that the military are forbidden from using according to the Geneva conventionThe purchase was a MAXIMUM of 450 million rounds, not 1.2 billion, and it\'s not paid for all nowIt\'s for all branches of DHS, plus immigration, plus border security, PLUS all their training and target practice which can be thousands of rounds a yearHollow point bullets are perfectly normal bullets used by police everywhere - they aren\'t aluminum coated bullets like you guys are mistaking them for.Other related question
