Do You Know How To Make Syurp Curst? If You Do Can You Tell Me?SIMPLE SYRUP (Pie Crust Glaze) 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring just to boilingCool before brushing on pieLeft over syrup can be stored, covered, in refrigeratorWhat makes this pie so appealing to the eye is the shiny, golden crustThe syrup, which hardens on the crust, gives it a tender, sweet taste and thanks to using a rim of aluminum foil, the edges of the crust will never burn.Other related question

I adopted a 10 week old kitten back in JulyHe was a tiny little thing and cute as can beNow he\'s a BIG HOLY TERRORHis two favorite games are playing with the slat of the metal mini blinds in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and sitting in the window when my two, very large dobermans are outside to torment themThey try to get him through the window and I\'m afraid they are going to break the glassI\'ve taken to leaving the mini blinds raised all of the time just so he won\'t be able to paw at the slats and make noise, but I CANNOT keep him out of the window sillI\'ve tried everythingEven spraying him with water in a spray bottle, but he LIKES it! Nothing worksHow in the HECK do you train a cat?! I\'m a dog person, my boyfriend is the cat personThe cat makes me so mad sometimes that I want to scream, then he comes up to me purring, and rubs against me, and he\'s so cute that I forget I was mad at himI know how to train dogs, I have experience with themCats are WAY outside of my area of expertiseCan somebody help me?similar questions here before, put aluminium foil on the sill, that irritates their feet you could put fly paper down, I bet he won\'t try that twice my favorite would be strips of thumbtacks.Other related question

Okay .If i have Aluminum (a positive ion with 3 electrons in its outer shell) and i have Chlorine (a negative ion with 7 e- in its outer shell) how do i combine them to make a neutral compound?do you get Al3Ch ?the 3 is a subscriptI also have to do Magnesium + Bromine sodium + oxygenlithium + oxygenand a few moreif you could explain why it would be great too!thanks for reading all the way through thisSince Al has a +3 charge, you need 3 negative charges to neutralize the moleculeYou\'re combining with Chloride (Cl) which has a -1 charge, so you need 3 to get a -3 charge totalYour compound will then be AlCl3Same with the others, you need the same amount of net negative and net positive charge to end up with a net neutralAnd a side note about your definition of ions: Aluminum is a positive ion because it loses those three electrons in the outer shellThis leaves it with a full outer shellLikewise, chloride gains one electron in its outer shell, giving it a full shell (8 e-) and also a net charge of -1The gain or loss of electrons is what makes them ions, and they will not have the same electron configuration as a neutral atom.Other related question

| Where can I get medium format film developed |

I have a surplus of 120 film that I\'d finally like to get developed today, but I don\'t know where to goI have a sneaking suspicion Walmart and CVS aren\'t going to handle medium format, and it doesn\'t look like Penn Camera does developingHelp.Since I no longer have a local pro lab, all of my 120 film goes in the drop box in Walmart They send all the weird stuff to Dwayne\'s Photo in Kansas, which is one of the better labs in the country In any case, the print film processing isn\'t that great-you get back tiny prints(about 3.5 square)The negatives are always clean and scratch-free though(and sleeved), and the price is right-under $2 for 12 exposures, as best as I recallToss the prints, and you still have a bargain on negatives that you can scan and print to huge sizes Slide film is another storyIt\'s also clean and scratch-freeI request mine uncut, and they send it back to me rolled up and sleeved inside a cardboard tubeThe price is $4.88 for 120, and I\'m told that it\'s the same for 220(although I don\'t use 220, so can\'t say for sure) In both cases, the advertised service time is two weeks, although mine usually comes back in a week EDIT: Generally, I just drop the loose roll, sealed shut with the seal strip, down in the bagI\'ve never had an issue doing this over the course of several hundred rolls Occasionally, I\'ll slip the roll back down into the foil wrapper that it comes in from the factory If you\'re really paranoid, medium format film will fit in two standard 35mm film canistersJust put them together and tape around the middleWhat you\'re doing certainly won\'t cause any harm, but in opinion it\'s probably overkillIf it gives you peace of mind, by all means keep doing it.Other related question

Im not talking a cake recipe, i mean chocolate like Hershey\'s chocolate kisses recipeI wanna make some heart shaped chocolates from scratch for my bestest friend to show her that i actually care about her; not to mention, she is allergic to some random preservative they put in chocolate or something so she can usually only eat the the ones her mom makes for her.Since she ONLY eats chocolates that her Mom personally makes for her, you need to find out EXACTLY what she is allergic to before you make some chocolate for her (or you could cause her problems)Once you find out what she is allergic to (what preservative precisely - nothing random), then we can help you with better recipesOtherwise, I have added some below Peace Huge Chocolate Kiss This Huge Chocolate Kiss is a large-scale take on the familiar Hershey’s Kiss candyPerfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or any occasion when a small “kiss” just won’t doMake sure you purchase good-quality chocolate for this one: since the kiss is solid chocolate, it pays to buy the best You can use any size funnel you have on hand, but bear in mind that the quantity of chocolate you need might change1 pound milk or dark chocolate, finely chopped 1 large funnel Prepare a large measuring cup or wide-mouthed vase by stuffing it with loosely crinkled aluminum foilWrap a piece of foil around the bottom of the funnel’s opening and keep it in place with a rubber band or with tape Securely place the funnel in the measuring cup, adding more crumpled foil at the sides to keep it from moving, if necessaryTemper the chocolatePour it slowly into the funnel until it almost reaches the topAllow the chocolate to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until completely set (at least 5 hours, or overnight) Once set, remove from refrigerator and unmold by rapping the bottom of the funnel on the counter topThe chocolate should pop right outWrap the kiss in a square of foil, twisting at the topInclude a note on a paper “flag” if desired.Other related question

A 2.0 mm diameter aluminum ball is charged to +58 nCWhat fraction of its electrons have been removed? The density of aluminum is 2,700 kg/m3.Since the atomic weight of aluminum is also very close to 27, the 2700 kg is very close to 100,000 molesTherefore, each 1 m^3 of aluminum is 100,000 times Avogadro\'s number of atomsNumber of atoms in each 1 m^3 will be 6.0 x 10^23 x 100000 6.0 x 10^28Number of electrons in each 1 m^3 of aluminum will be 27 x 6 x 10^28 1.6 x 10^30Volume of a 2.0-mm-diameter ball is (4/3)(pi)(0.002 m)^3 3.35 x 10^(-8) m^3 Number of electrons in this volume will be (3.35 x 10^(-8) m^3)(1.6 x 10^30/m^3) 5.36 x 10^22 How many electrons are required for a charge of -58 nC? That would be 58 x 10^(-9) C/(1.6 x 10^(-19) C) 3.6 x 10^11 So the fraction removed is 3.6 x 10^11/(5.36 x 10^22) about 7 x 10^(-12), that is to say, 7 trillionths, or 1 out of every 150 billionNot a whole lot!!!Other related question

| What would be the average weight of a section of bleachers |

I know it\'s completely random, but I have a purpose.Say the section is about 5 meters long and the bleachers are titanium.I\'ll love you if you help me out.Since the density of titanium is about 4500 kg/m^3 and the density of aluminum is about 2700 kg/m^3, a set of titanium bleachers will weigh 1.7 times more than a set of aluminum bleachers, given that they have the same geometry If you really want to know, would suggest that you find a style of bleachers that you like, which will probably be made out of aluminum, call the company and get the weight, and then multiply it by 1.7Just don\'t tell them why you need the weight, because they might laugh at you.Other related question
