Aluminum tube is widely used in the refrigeration system of the cold storage warehouse with a temperature of 10℃ to 45℃, is an ideal evaporator for food freezer and cold store.
The advantages of aluminum tube :
1.high efficiency
Aluminum tube has a lager projected area and evaporation area, it install at the top of cold storage warehouse, the heat exchange capacity per unit area of overhead raw is higher than that of the wall raw. Overhead raw has a higher cold storage effect, it can decrease the startup rate of compressor, thus saving the power consumption.
2. reduce the moister loss of food
Aluminum tube hoisting at the top of the warehouse, form a cooling and natural convection, keep the temperature fluctuation to a smaller, to reduce the moister loss of foods. The cold storage warehouse that use aluminum tube has a few of frost, and the frost is easy to remove.
3.a light weight
At a same evaporation area, the weight of aluminum tube is one sixth of the weight of steel, and it is easy to install.
4.a high heat transfer efficiency
Aluminum products has a good thermal conductivity, its thermal conductivity is 2.9 times that of iron, it can saving 30% of energy, has a high comprehensive cost-performance ratio.
5. clean and a long service life
The surface of aluminum tube is processed by special processing, has a clean interior, a good corrosion-resistant and a long service life.
6.use less refrigerant
The reasonable structure of aluminum tube increase the contact area of the refrigerant, and its external wing panel increase contact area with the air, it greatly improve the refrigerant utilization.
7. accelerate the convection and fast cooling
The wing panel of aluminum tube connect parallel, it form several parallel convection channels. The cold air in the channel will cause a stack effect, and it sink down, thereby to accelerate the convection and speed up the cooling rate

Relevant data shows that the proportion of aluminum alloy used in automobile manufacturing is rising steadily, so which parts of the car can use aluminum alloy , you know ? Here is a detailed list of aluminum alloy for all parts of the car.
First, the car hub. Now the car wheels are basically aluminum materials. Cars without aluminum wheels, either more than a decade ago, or very low-priced cars. Using aluminum alloy wheels has a very obvious effect on reducing fuel consumption, while most car hubs are made of 6061 aluminum sheet.
Secondly, the car's four doors and two covers. Four doors are the four car door, two covers are the hood and trunk lid, which are easy to damage part in car body. The "four two cover" aluminum alloy are 5182 aluminum plate. Due to 5182 aluminum plate has excellent deformation, it can absorb shocking in the impact by external force to supply the maximum protection for the driver and passengers. Therefore, using 5182 aluminum plate for four door two cover has higher security.
Thirdly, automobile chassis. There are also many aluminum alloys in automobile chassis, such as 5083 aluminum plate, 5754 aluminum plate, 6061 aluminum sheet and so on.
Finally, the fuel tank, radiator, battery floor of new energy vehicle and so on are also made of aluminum alloy.

5052 aluminum sheet belongs to Al-Mg alloy, with a wide range of applications, particularly the construction industry cannot do without this alloy, and it is the most promising alloy. Good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, good cold workability, and moderate intensity. For the manufacture of aircraft fuel tank, tubing, and vehicles, ships sheet metal, ship instrument street lights, frame and rivets, metal products, electrical shell. Let's take a look at the process performance of 5052 aluminum sheet.
Formability :
1. 5052 aluminum sheet has good hot plastic process. The forging and die forging temperature is 420 ~ 475°C, and the deformation rate is more than 80% in this range.
2. The cold stamping performance is related to the status of aluminum alloy, and 5052 aluminum sheet has a good cold stamping performance in annealed condition.
Welding performance :
1.5052 aluminum sheet has a good performance in gas welding, arc welding, resistance welding, spot welding and seam welding performance, but 5052 aluminum sheet may appear ystal crack in argon protected welding, its brazing performance is good, but a poor soldering performance.
2.5052 aluminum sheet has a high intensity and plasticity, weld strength can reach to 90% to 95% of the matrix metal strength, but its weld tightness is not high. So we recommend the 5A03 alloy solder, it can improve the weld tightness and eliminate cracks.
3.The cutting machining properties of 5052 aluminum sheet is not good in annealed condition, but has a perceptible improvement in the process of cold hardening.

What if I put aluminum foil in the microwave?

The microwave oven is one of the great inventions of the 20th century -- you can find them in millions of homes and offices around the world. At one time or another, we've all been told not to use metal products, especially aluminum foil, when cooking with a microwave oven. Stories of incredible explosions and fires usually surround these ominous warnings. Why is that? Let's take a look at how microwave ovens work to find out.
As incredible as microwave ovens are, the technology behind them is fairly simple. Microwave ovens use microwaves to heat food. Microwaves are radio waves. In the case of microwave ovens, the commonly used radio wave frequency is roughly 2,500 megahertz (2.5 gigahertz). Radio waves in this frequency range have an interesting property: Water, fats and sugars absorb them. When absorbed they're converted directly into atomic motion -- heat. Microwaves in this frequency range have another interesting property: Most plastics, glass or ceramics don't absorb them. But what about metal?

aluminium has high thermal diffusivity ;therefore heat will diffuse swiftly through the foil. What is the logic behind wrapping our food items in aluminium foil ?? A sheet of paper has much lower thermal diffusivity as compared to aluminium foil so any food item wrapped in a sheet of paper will remain warmer for more duration as compared to food item wrapped in aluminium foil..right?

How Does Aluminum Foil Keep The Food Warm? And Is It Safe?

Whether it is lunch for office or college, planning a picnic or travelling, most of us pack our home-made food in aluminum foil and carry it. But have you ever wondered how it keeps the food warm and is it even safe to store food in aluminum foils for longer periods of time? Aluminum foil is made up of aluminum (as the name suggests), which has reflective properties and acts as a barrier to light and oxygen. As a result, the foil reflects the thermal energy back to the food maintaining the inherent aroma, moisture and flavour of the food. It is often used for packaging of perishable foods and dairy products also for longer storage. Aluminum foil’s usage doesn’t only limit to food, it can also be used to put on windows to keep the house cool during summer and hot during winters.
An aluminum foil keeps the food warm, but placing the foil directly on the object or food doesn’t help much. The reason behind this is, if the foil is in contact with the object, the thermal energy would move in the foil itself and might get away, but if the foil is placed a little away from the food then it can properly reflect back the thermal energy and maintain the freshness of the food. So to avoid contact between foil and food, you can add a few layers of butter paper to make air pockets and then add pack in a final layer of aluminum foil.
As aluminum is a poor insulator (substance which doesn’t allow passage of heat) so to make the foil more effective, place it (food wrapped in foil) in fiberglass or ceramic tiffin boxes. It doesn’t only keep the food warmer for long, but also keep things cold.It acts as barrier to the oxygen and air which can transfer heat to the cold or frozen food. Bottom line is it helps by maintaining the temperature of the food, be it warm or cold.

aluminum foil
An aluminum foil keeps the food warm.
Dangers of aluminum foil
Aluminum foil should ideally be used only to keep food warm for shorter periods of time but many people store the food for longer which may have consequences. Any food, if reaches 7- 8 degree Celsius or the time limit of 3-4 hours has exceeded (this may vary depending on the season and outdoor temperatures) then it provides an atmosphere for bacteria to reproduce, so it shouldn’t be outside the refrigerator. The bacteria (lysteria, staph) developed on the food will not be visible but it may cause food poisoning, clammy skin and vomiting.
According to Shalini Manglani, Bangalore based Wellness and Weight Management Expert, “Muslin cloth, food grade brown paper and food grade parchment or butter paper can also be used to wrap foods. Aluminum foil locks moisture and odor in and keeps the food fresh but hot and acidic foods should not be put in aluminum foil as the aluminum will leach into the item.”
parchment paper
Parchment or butter paper can also be used to wrap foods.
Although aluminum foil is there to keep your food warm, it doesn’t harm to try other alternatives too as suggested by experts. For most working people, eating packed homemade food is a norm. All you need to do is give a little attention to how this food is packed and carried. Be Safe!

uses aluminium foil to wrap food and many use it for cooking too, especially during baking and roasting. But if Ghada Bassioni from Ain Shams University Cairo is to be believed, the pleasure of enjoying aluminium wrapped food may just be doing more harm than you know. According to her, "The migration of aluminium into food during the cooking process is above the permissible limit set by World Health Organisation."
Other health studies have suggested high aluminium intake as a reason for reduced growth of brain cells. What cements Bassioni research are several other studies that claim aluminium to be harmful to people with bone diseases. Scientists across the world are trying to establish a link between high levels of aluminium found in brains of Alzheimer's patients.
It is interesting to note here that tin foil was used to wrap foods before aluminium foil was introduced in the market. Many people around the world had complained of food tasting or smelling like tin and hence aluminium and other forms of food wrappings were developed and introduced in the world.
Millions of households may have to switch back to tin foils or other forms of wrapping food if further research proves the point Bassioni is trying to make. There are many other cookware utensils with aluminium in them, but as per Bassioni, layers of other metals in cooking utensils prevent aluminium from being absorbed by the food. She has further explained that aluminium present in cooking utensils during the cooking process gets oxidised.

Why does household aluminium foil have one dull side and one shiny side?

SO THAT the shiny side can reflect the heat on to the item to be cooked, using a long-established scientific principle that shiny surfaces reflect heat and light. What has completely mystified me for years, though, is the fact that 99.9 per cent of people I have come across use aluminium foil the wrong way round - with the shiny side outside - thereby reflecting heat away from what they are trying to cook.

Best way to cut aluminum on a budget?!?

I have been cutting up some aluminum diamond plate (about 3/16 thick) and have tried the following methods.
Jig saw, very slow and just doesn’t work very well regardless of what blade I use, Grinder with a cut of wheel is even worse. The fastest thing I have found so far is a skill saw with a wood carbide blade. But after 20 or so cuts the blade gets dull and gummed up, it’s also loud as **** and make a huge mess and I can only do straight cuts.
Is there a tool that would make my life easier? Like some metal shears or something along that line and is under $150.
Thanks in advanced.
