We roll aluminum strip for electrical transformer widing to thicknesses ranging from .010" to .250". The specific gauge capability is dependent on the alloy, temper and width requirements for specific orders. Our mill enables us to hold consistent and exceptionally tight gauge tolerances, and in many cases we can hold to more than half of the required commercial tolerance.
Our slitting lines are dedicated to processing specific gauge ranges to ensure the highest quality slit edge. Coils can be slit from as narrow as .375" to as wide as 60". Coils can be provided on IDs of 6", 10", 12", 16" or 20" and ODs as large as 64".
Our cold rolling mill enables us to provide 1mm 3mm 5mm 10mm 25mm aluminium edging strip ceiling up to 20" wide. Although this represents the maximum width, it is dependent on certain variables such as flatness requirements and temper. We will always advise our customers as to the best options for their specific product needs.

Generally speaking, aluminium strip price stays relatively stable unless there are huge political or economic events that would influence aluminum ingot price and manufacturing cost of the strip. At present, a reasonable price for aluminum tapes should be around 3000 dollars per metric ton in China. It’s difficult to give a specific price which varies with specifications like alloys, thicknesses and surface treatment etc, but thicker ones, like aluminium strip 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and 4mm, have a higher price (above, not below 3000).
Aluminium strip 1mm refers to aluminum belts with a thickness of 1mm, and it’s usually applied to special purposes. The most frequently used is below 0.3mm. There are many types in accordance with usages. Aluminum fin strip tapes are usually made of alloys of 3003, 4343, 1060, 1100, 4047, 4104, 4a13, 6951 and 7072. The temper can be O, H12, H14, H26 and H18. Thickness ranges from 0.08mm to 0.3mm. The strip is used in evaporator fin and plate, glass mounting bracket material, radiator fin and plate, parallel condenser fin, charge air cooler material, air cooling fin material for tubes, aluminum for heating element, oil cooler and engineering machinery. Aluminum strip for air duct materials must be of soft state, namely, O. It’s usually thinner, between 0.08mm and 0.13mm. Ropp Cap aluminium strip belts, usually 8011 H14 and H16, are usually from 0.16mm to 0.23mm thick. Thus aluminium strip 1mm belongs to the thick group of aluminum strip products.
