Wheelbase: 107” Minimum, 121” Max. Measured Right side. Weight: 51% Rear Weight percentage maximum.
Engine: .515" Max Total Lift. All Casting Marks remain unchanged. No Solid Roller Lifters are allowed. Engines over 5.9 Liters require 500 CFM Carburetor.
Tires: Dirt Tires or Asphalt Pull-offs, 11” maximum widths. Durometer 54 or harder after Feature. Siping, Grooving, Shaving, Grinding ok. Steel Wheels: 15" X 7”-10” steel wheels. Rear outer Beadlocks ok. Racing Studs are required. Five 1” lug nuts are required per wheel. No Bleed-off Valves.
Engines: Strictly No Altering Castings or Bosses. Heads/Blocks/ Cams/Cranks must keep factory Markings, Bosses and #’s - If not present, Part is Illegal. No CNC Milling fake OEM numbers into Parts!

ENGINES: location= Balancer @ Lower Ball Joint or Forward. Within 1” of Center. Steel Motor Mounts, Aluminum Mid-Plate ok. Oil pan may not hang below the crossmember. Driver seat: left of Driveline & Seat forward of rear Axle. Flywheel forward of Drivers Feet. Steel Safety cover plates over U-Joints & Driveshaft Tunnel. Front Skid Panel only on crossmember may be trimmed & filled for clearance. Fuel Pump Cut out allowed if boxed back in and welded solid & rounded corners.
Chassis Options: 1955-2002 American Passenger Cars (S-10's GMT 400/800-SN95/FOX ok) All Cars must have OEM Stamped Steel Ford or GM or Mopar Front Lower Control arms.

METAL BODY: 1936 or newer, Muscle Car - Wedge Car, body styles. Must Protect Drivers. Maximum Body Width Tire Sidewall. Sealed Interior Metal Firewall and Floor & over top of Driveshaft minimum sized holes for throttle, etc. 14"+ minimum Drivers Side Cockpit Opening. Body Cannot Obstruct Other Competitors' View for Safety. Aftermarket Racing Plastic Quarters & Front Fenders ok. No part of the car allowed more than 48" forward of front Spindle or 48” rearward of Axle.
NOSE: Plastic Noses & Tail Panels Optional. Racer may fabricate Aluminum Wedge Nose W/ Two Plastic corners. Square & Level across the front only, no crooked front ends. Nose Maximum one inch wider than front Tread with wheels pointed straight & no narrower than front Rotors. OEM bumpers don’t require a Nose & can be top halved.
Fenders: Metal or Plastic Fenders ok, Fenders can remain open from Spindle to Mid-plate. Rear of Fender can tuck inside nose plastics.
HOOD: Metal Only. Must cover the top of the engine and radiator & seal at deck. Air Cleaner Hole ok. Scoops - Cannot Block Drivers View - No obstructions.
Deck: Metal Only. Deck begins within 12” rear of Flywheel. 41" Maximum Rear Deck height. Maximum Width Deck 66”. 6.6" Maximum Rake on Deck. Open top interiors optional. OEM Trunks optional.
Hood 3" Rake Max, Flat Decks Side to Side Front to Rear.
Doors & Quarters: No Fiberglass. 14" Minimum Driver Door Window Access & 12" Minimum Static Window Opening. Door Skins min 26" to max 34” Tall with 4” ground clearance. Quarter Panel Length 38" to 48" Maximum from Axle to Rear Body Line.
General Sheetmetal Rules: No Concave Body Panels to trap air. Footwell behind Flywheel. Extended Footwells require Steel Plate & Blow out Protection. Metal Drivers Interior must be sealed. Body Max Width outside Tread side to side, Flare 3" at front of Right Rear Tire ok. No narrower than Rotors or Frame. Right line front Frame to rear outer Tread + Flair ok. No Sharp Bumpers or Edges-Tire Cutters.
Spoiler: 8" Deck Spoiler Max Height, No Portion of Deck Spoiler may be over 47" Tall. Spoiler within Sideboards & uniform, Rear Spoilers Max Width 60”. Optional "F40" Rear Wing Spoiler. No higher than Roof & 60" Maximum width. 8" Maximum depth.
Rear: Rear "Rock-Catcher" Aluminum Panel, 6"+ vertical measurement from Deck, angled up to 45* ok or Tail Plastics. Quarter Plastics allowed. (ABC, S2, SGN, Dominator, stock-style Okay). Tail light graphics okay.
Roof: Compact or Sub-Compact Fastback OEM Steel Roof, may fabricate OEM Metal Roof or "SPEEDWAY" #91054175 Styles. Approximate-Maximum 58" & 46” Minimum height & 3” Maximum Rake. Must bolt to Cage w/ Four Bolts. Steel rollover Protection panel affixed above Halo recommended if not Steel Roof.- 52" from frame Maximum height.
Sail Panel: Fastback, Coupe, Opera, Camaro or Open NOVA/Daytona. 3D ok, no air traps. "C" Pillar inboard of Quarter Panel 3" ok. Stock/Wedge Car appearance. Sail Panels remain Flat.
Shocks: No Bulbs or external chambers allowed. 4 Shocks per Car. Stock Mount Only: Bilstein/Doetsch-TECH/KYB/Koni Classic. Welded Heim Ends: PRO WB Steel, Doetsch-TECH, QA1 EC, "Carrera" & Pro "SS" Series okay. Four shocks per car using one per tire.
REAR AXLE Magnetic Rear end housing must be stock Steel Tubes only. May have three Hole Trailing Arm Mounts. Ford 9" Ok. Jeep, GM, Ford, Chrysler.(7.5", 7.625", DANA 44, 8.25",8.5", 8.8", etc) Strange & Moser Etc Okay. No Magnesium or Aluminum allowed. All Mounts Affixed, no sliding or rolling Mounts. Must Be LOCKED. Bracing optional. After-market axles, studs, and mini-spools are okay. Rear end axles must be locked together at all times, Spiders may rock. No 8 Lugs. Mandatory Left & Right DISC BRAKES & Caliper & Pads. No Floaters.
DRIVE SHAFT Must be painted white or silver or fluorescent orange. Must have steel drive shaft loop (360 degree) connected to the frame located within 6" rear of the front drive shaft u-joint. Minimum size is 2" X 1/8". Balance ok. NO CARBON FIBER! Steel Only.
Brakes MUST HAVE FRONT & REAR BRAKES, Remote Driver adjust allowed. Racing Master Cylinders With Aftermarket Pedal ok. Front OEM style rotors only, no oil bath hubs. No aluminum brake components allowed. OEM magnetic Calipers only. Mandatory Magnetic Rear Discs up to 12" disc brakes. Rear Rotors with Hats dual vane only. Solid Hats only. 5/8" studs are Required, passenger car Studs must be upgraded. Bolt pattern chevy or ford. Working hydraulic brakes front & Rear mandatory. No Drum Brakes, No aluminum brake parts. Maximum Two Brake Master Cylinders, Aftermarket Pedal Assembly ok, Wilwood, AFCO or Tilton Styles, may have Driver adjustable Front to Rear Manual Bias Control. OEM Style front Rotors only, Rear Rotors may be Floating OEM only. OEM Style Single Piston Magnetic Calipers only.
Ignition: HEI & OEM Electronic Distributors Only. HEI Rev Limiters MSD #83647 Circuit Board or similar ok. Vacuum advance may be removed and the pick-up coil locked. 6AL MSD Ignition Boxes or off brand maximum, 6000's MSD or "Daytona Smart" Box is allowed with OEM or parts house stock replacement Coils & Wires only. No Traction Control allowed. No magnetos. Ignition Kill switch must be located within reach from outside the car.
Control Arms: Steel Tubular Front Upper ok, Steel Fabricated Mount ok. Front Lower stamped Arms Only. Steel Trailing Arms, tubed or boxed ok. No Softy Bushings in trailing arms, must be OEM type. Grease Zerks ok on all moving suspension parts.
Steering: Steel Gearbox in OEM Mounts, Quick Steer Ok, Steel Pump on Engine only. Steel Idler in OEM Mounts, Pass Side single adjuster outer Tie Rod okay, ANY OEM type Tie Rods that fit Spindles & Center Link, Quick Steer Okay, Steel Pump on Engine. Quick release steering wheel is mandatory. No chains or sprockets allowed in the steering system. Bump steer cannot be adjusted. QA1 Ball Joints ok. Only FOX/SN95 Complete front Clips are allowed OEM Rack & Pinion.
Coil Springs: Four Steel Coil Springs Maximum, 5"-15" Max Length 3"-5.5" O.D., No 5th Coils. Corrected Spring bucket ok, Jack Bolts & Adjustable Cups ok.
*Driver: Drivers Feet rear of Flywheel/Firewall, Driver Left of Driveshaft & Forward of 3rd Member. Minimum Steel door Plate Under Seat. Steel plate over Drivers door bars protects Driver seat minimum.
CHASSIS: Frame: 107+” Minimum Wheelbase. G-Body Specs ok. Full Frame & Clips May Modify- adapt factory Coil Spring Rear Clip. Coil Spring Bucket & Jack Bolts allowed front & rear. Plating Crush zones & body mounts ok. All Chassis must remain OEM Parallel & True & straight, No Wedge or Crooked Chopping. Camaro Clips to Rear Motor Mount preferred. No Round Tube Front Clips. No Aftermarket Rack & Pinions Allowed. Leaf Camaro may adapt OEM Coil Spring rear Clip. OEM Frame's may shorten to 108” wheelbase. Frames/Clips may be straight Rail heavy tubing on Passenger side from behind lower control arm Stanchion to rear Suspension Mount, eliminating perimeter right side frame rail.
FRONT SUSPENSION: Steel parts only. Front Upper Control Arm mounts must be welded. Must use uncut OEM Crossmember. OEM Stanchion holes may be corrected. Corrected spring buckets ok. Front Springs 4 ½” minimum diameter. Big Body may have notches for tubular upper control arms. Only SN95/FOX approved OEM Rack & Pinions.
Front Control Arms: Tubular Steel Upper Front Arms & Aftermarket steel Upper Mounts okay. Any Combo front offset okay. Must accept OEM style Ball Joint. Upper Control Arm Mount & Bolt Pattern may be changed. Nova & S-10 & G-Body Front Lower Optional. Stamped Steel Lower Control arms must be either Ford, Mopar or GM with OEM style Bushings, Grease zerks okay.
Spindles: USA OEM Disk type, Chevy, Mopar & Ford, car or light truck. OEM Style Hubs & Spindles only. SR Spindles= Speedway / ARGO /AFCO - Styles. Must be Cast or Forged Magnetic. No Wet Bath hubs. No Fabricated Tubular Spindles allowed. No Aluminum. Strut Spindles with upper ball joint adapter allowed. Hub with Kotter key & Castle Nut required on spindles. C-3 ok.
OEM REAR SUSPENSIONS ONLY: OEM GM or Ford 4 Link OEM COIL Spring Rear Frame Only. Leaf Clips may swap to OEM Rear Coil Clip with Axle mounted Centered. OEM COIL Suspensions: General Motors & Ford & Jeep only. 1982-2002 Camaro Torque ARM: Must Use OEM lower Trailing Arms. Optional 3rd Link with OEM Trailing Arm & Bushings. 3rd Link may be mounted Centered over Driveshaft or just right of Cast housing on Axle Tube or bolted to existing Torque Arm Mount. Panhard Bar minimum length is 19” and is mounted on the rear of the housing or axle tube. No Biscuit or Spring Rods allowed.
SPRINGS: Steel Coil Springs, 15" Max Height, 4.5"- 5.5” diameter. Two Coil Springs only, one per side allowed. Coil Spring perch solid on Housing. Upper Jack-bolts or adjustable Spring cups okay, Spring perch affixed Center Tube. No Coil-Overs or Eliminators & No floating Mounts.
Trailing Arms: OEM Style, may be Boxed w/ OEM Style Bushings. OEM Arms may be matched to Differential used. Speedway Motors | #91634055 No Softy Bushings. ALL Trailing Arms remain OEM equal lengths per side. Straps through rear Springs only. No Coilover Eliminators Allowed.
Leaf Springs: Camaro type. Steel Racing Brands ok. .LEAF SPRINGS Fabricated Rear Clip ok. Pivot Bushing/Trac-Rod/Toe Adjuster/Sliders-Shackle. Adjustable Suspension Mounts ok. Shackle/Dogbone/Sliders/Toe Adjuster ok. Calvert Style “Trac Rod” & J-Bar ok. Any bushing. Front Leaf Mount may have adjusting Holes & bolted Brackets. (Tube Subframe Clip to rear bumper for Leafs only. No Gutting Clips.) Moving hangers & inboard ok. Fabricated Leaf Spring over or underslung rear clip: 12 Gauge - Round 1 3/4" Tube or 2X2” Square Main Rail or Larger recommended: Fabricated Rear Clip ok (2x3”-095 or 2x2 110 or 1.5x120 etc).
ENGINE: 412” Maximum cubic inches. Block - OEM or GM19432110/BRO-RS400035842W, Ford & Mopar & GM OEM Blocks. (OEM Hydraulic Roller ok) Engines over 5.9 Liters require 500 CFM Carburetor.
Rockers - Steel only, Roller ok & up to two per shaft unless OEM.
Crankshaft: Aftermarket is limited to EAGLE-SCAT 9000 Cast Only. Internal or External Balance ok. No Billet or exotic Crankshafts allowed.
Rods - OEM/Powder/SCAT/EAGLE/LS. ARP Bolts & Cap Screw ok.
Pistons - Hypereutectic or Forged: SUMMIT-KB- TRW-SpeedPro-UEM-JEGS or OEM. 10.5-1 Maximum Total Compression. No Exotics.
Oil Pans: sight plug @ #. Wet Sumps only. Left Turn oval Pan ok,
OEM HEADS ONLY: Iron Small Block Heads only Allowed Pocket Port & Bolt Tubes & Valve reliefs. Studs & Plates & Beehive ok. OEM Valve sizes only are maximum sizes. 3-5 Angle Valve job ok. Spring Pocket & Rocker clearance ok, Poly Locks ok. Stud Girdles & Vortec ok. No Titanium allowed. No Altering Casting numbers. Chamber Valve reliefs ok. OEM 5.9 Liter Engines Only Stock Replacement Heads = chamber valve reliefs only are allowed, otherwise race as is. Aluminum OEM heads are allowed 2.0" Maximum Intake & 1.6" Exhaust Valve sizes maximum. No Overhead Cam heads allowed.
Aftermarket Iron Heads: Race As Is. ALL Port & Runners Race As-is with Thick Decks only! No Porting or Polishing or Milling. Absolutely no Angle Milling. OEM Valve Angles only. Steel Rocker Arms: Roller Tip ok. - 1.6 Ratio Maximum. Spacers & Bushings ok, Magnetic. 2.02” Intake Valve X 1.6" Exhaust Valves 200cc maximum.
Intake Manifold: Single Carb, No 2 piece/exoticsH2O Lines Ok. Mid-Rise Maximum. Alloy or Iron/Steel.
CARBURETORS: Choke horn required with OEM Number. No HP or XP allowed. 2nd Safety Spring required. Clamp all Lines. Solid Top Metal Air Filter Housing. Air Filter must be present to compete.
FUEL PUMP Only stock mount pushrod activated OEM style allowed. No bypass fuel systems or regulators or Belt Driven. Unleaded only, Gasoline only.
EXHAUST: OEM Exhaust Manifolds, Dorman Re-Pops ok. Any Collector Welded or Threaded ok. No Exotics allowed. Extended Collectors & X pipe ok. All cars may require Mufflers if Track Mandates.
BATTERY: 12 volt battery only allowed, maximum two & may be charged by an alternator. 12 volt only. Securely Mounted, Sealed only or in Sealed case. No Push Start Cars. Cars must be self sufficient & self starting.
RADIATOR Brass/Copper or Aluminum. Radiator front of engine. Catch Cans Required. Transmission Cooler allowed inside Engine Radiator or Separate. Electric Fans ok.
OEM TRANSMISSION: Automatic or Standards only. OEM-Mitchell Machine ok. Dummy Converters okay. Self-starting with working neutral, reverse, and forward. All Cars must have Steel Front Drive Shaft Hoop. Steel Driveshaft only. Transmission fluid coolers ok. Safety shield 180 degrees over clutch assembly. Slave cylinders & hydraulic throw out bearing ok. Aftermarket Steel Bellhousings ok. Ultrabells ok. No Direct Drives allowed. Jericho/Borg Warner 3 & 4 Speeds allowed with 100 Pound Penalty. No Brinn or Bert or Falcon styles. No Aftermarket Two Speeds allowed.
ROLL CAGE: Eight Point minimum. Made in USA Steel only. Driver Seat must be forward of rear Cross-member & Left of Drivetrain & behind Engine. Main roll cage must consist of continuous hoops not less than 1-1/2" X .095", DOM recommended. Some Sanctions require 1 ⅝” or 1.75" Main Cage. All welds must be complete. A minimum three Driver (3) & two Passenger side Door bars. X-bracing is allowed. Driver Door plates mandatory 16" X 16" min. USA Mild steel Cages NO chrome-moly. Must have a front drive shaft hoop, no chains allowed unless welded solid. Ballast must be safely painted, marked and Securely Bolted down for Safety. 2 Seaters require Drivers safety items on both sides. Rail present drivers side & beyond the base of driver’s seat for Door Bars. Only USA Mild Steel Round tubing, No Chromoly. 1.5" 0.95 minimum & w/ vertical supports. Rear Down Bars & kickers weld on either side of the Fuel Cell. Minimum Eight Point Cage Chassis, 2" minimum Clearance from Drivers Helmet. Minimum Four ⅜”.Windshield Bars. Welded Tabs - Eye's 1/2" for Harness & Seat 3/8" Securely Mount with Bolts & Must pass Tech Safety Inspection. "X" Bracing allowed, Gussets & Cross Bracing required. Front Driveshaft Hoop Required. Engine Must Safely Mount in Chassis, Body Must Mount to Chassis in Secure Fashion. Cage must serve as protection for Driver and other competitors as a Priority.
WINDSHIELD BARS Minimum of three (4) windshield bars 3/8" in diameter is required. Front of driver. #3 Rebar OK. NERF BARS Single bar or “hooped” door Nerfs allowed. Maximum size = 1-1/2" X .095" x 2 or 1 ¾” single, attached to the cage at the front and rear sections of the nerf bar. No center supports, within tread. All bumpers and nerf bars must be capped and rounded. Hidden Behind Door Skin preferred.
DRAFTING BUMPERS 20” Nominal height. Flat Bar Must expose outside Nose minimum. Width Ball Joint to Center of Tire & may be stacked or hooped. 1.25-1.75" .095" max Round Tube or 2x2" square tube 13 Gauge maximum thickness. May Hide Behind Nose. No Plating reinforcement except for Mount. Required fuel cell protection bar (minimum size = 1-1/2" X .095"). Wrecker loop required. Must be exposed. Plastic or Aluminum nose behind/above bumper. Must absorb heavy Impacts so the driver doesn’t, Required front and rear. No Sharp Edges. May run 3" Flat strap or single Tube in front of Plastic Nose & Tail. Maximum width to Rotors. Minimum Wide as Frame & Wider than Fuel Cell. Must offer Wrecker Hoop. Metal OEM OK. Bumpers must be permanently attached so they don't fall off or break off.
G-Body's may require minimum weights to compete.

Fuel Cell 25 Gallon Maximum. Racing fuel Cell Required. Safety Steel Plate under Cell. One inch minimum tubing must be used frame to frame mounting cell. Must have Steel CAN & Small Cap w/flap & 2" Steel flat Straps Minimum. Located higher than 3rd Member. All Fuel Lines must be Clamped. NO Plastic Fuel Lines. 1 1/2” or larger Rear Fuel Cell Protection bar required.
BALLAST WEIGHT: Must be securely bolted and painted white w/ car number. Two ½” grade 8 bolts per 30-50 pounds of weight. Bare Iron Heads may be used as Ballast. No Ballast bolted on rear end housing allowed.
Race Car - High Performance Appearance Mandatory. No lights or speakers. No Glass Allowed.
Track may use Pace Car. No Rabbit Starts. Stock Cars always start side by side double stacked front to back. Green @ Cone/White line By Flag Man. Leader Starts the race & flagman throws Green Flag if it’s a fair start. All Restarts should be Double File, with Leader choosing inside or outside Lane and 2nd place car alongside.
