Are you suppose to poke holes at the bottom of the aluminum pans if you\'re planting vege seeds?yes, you need drainagewhy are you using aluminum pans? There are a few other options out there as far as containers gothere\'s even tutorials on how to make biodegradable paper pots for seedlingsyou can get cardboard pots that will eventually disintergrate when you replant in the ground, .Other related question

There is a way you can clean silver by soaking it in a pan with water, aluminum foil and some cleaning productDoes anyone know exactly how to clean silver this way? What is the cleaning product? Does it matter what the pan is made of?YesLine your pan with aluminium foilCover w/baking sodaPour boiling water over silver and sodaYou will see the tarnish come right offUsing tongs, remove the silverware and place into cold waterWear a face mask because it smells like rotten eggsYou are creating a miniature plating reactor in your pan/sink/vesselCold water stops the reactionYou shouldn\'t do this on silverplated products because it can remove the silver layer.Other related question

You line the aluminum pans with the cups and then you pour the mixture into the cupsBut leave room for them to riseThen you put it in the oven!Other related question

I wanna deep fry bacon to put on these burgers im makeing, but was wondering will it ruin it.how should i go about it.You can deep fry baconIf you would like to coat it first try the following recipe otherwiseBring a cup of frying oil (peanut, veggie or canola) up to temp and ut the bacn itI imagine very cold bacon would hold it\'s shape betterDeep Fried bacon Ingredients 3 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1 pound thick sliced bacon, cut in half 3 cups all-purpose flour salt and pepper to taste 2 cups vegetable oil for frying Directions 1.Whisk together the eggs and milk in a bowl until smoothSeparate the bacon strips, and soak in the milk mixture for 30 minutes2.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)Heat oil in deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)3.Whisk together the flour, salt, and pepper in a separate bowlRemove the bacon from the egg mixture, and toss with the flour to coatLine a baking sheet with aluminum foil4.Fry the bacon strips 3 to 5 slices at a time until golden brown, about 4 minutesDrain on a paper towel-lined plateOnce all of the bacon has cooked, place onto the prepared baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven until crispy, about 7 minutes.Other related question

can anyone give me some tips on replacing the use of plastic bags for garbage, as well as those sandwich bags. You can buy plastic/ disposable bags, plates, spoons, cups, and such made from natural and therefore biodegradable materialsSome are made from corn starches or wheat starchesCheck out the website below for one place where you can purchase themYou can also check out natural and health stores for recycled bags, and use things like aluminum foil, which can be washed and reusedYou need to be really careful about reusing plastic, especially if you heat it (or run it in a dishwasher with hot water)Dangerous chemical compounds can be released as the plastic breaks downThey can cause cancer, reduce your fertility, and lots of other gross stuffI try to use all glass storage containers-I save salsa and pickle jars, for example, and use them to store left over food or food for lunchesthey\'re safe to microwave, and recyclable if they ever do break.Other related question

Ok, if I only use the paper baking cups, will they burn or something? I\'m confused! Help! You can bake muffins in the paper baking cups but it is still suggested that you still use a muffin pan to hold the muffins so when your muffins rise they will go UP instead of OUTIf you pack them tightly in a cake pan because you don\'t have a muffin pan they should do alrightThe paper won\'t burn but keep a close eye on them if you use a cake pan to bake them in otherwise the muffin mix may push the sides of the muffin papers down and you loose all you mix.Other related question

Let say we have a piece of aluminium that is 200 C and a piece of steel that is also 200 C and we put them each in a equally sized 2x2 meter room with equal tempI\'m guessing the air in the room with the aluminium will get heated faster due to it\'s higher thermal conductivity or am I wrong? Will the air in the room with the steel be warmer longer, but wont reach higher temp compared to the other room? You are wrongThe heat is passed from the metal to the air via convection not via conduction within the metalNow Aluminium is not as dense as steel so that a block of the same size will not hold as much heatBut it has a higher specific heat so that a block of the same mass will hold more heat than the steelThe amount of heat determines the final temperature of the roomThe rate of heating is more dependent upon the nature of the surface ( rough or smooth, large or small area) and the shape which affects the speed of the air movement( fast moving air shifts more heat more quickly than slow moving air)You are wrongThe heat is passed from the metal to the air via convection not via conduction within the metalNow Aluminium is not as dense as steel so that a block of the same size will not hold as much heatBut it has a higher specific heat so that a block of the same mass will hold more heat than the steelThe amount of heat determines the final temperature of the roomThe rate of heating is more dependent upon the nature of the surface ( rough or smooth, large or small area) and the shape which affects the speed of the air movement( fast moving air shifts more heat more quickly than slow moving air)Other related question
