aluminum+oxygenaluminum has 3 electrons to give but oxygen only needs 2, so where does that extra electron go and what kind of charge is it.explainWell it simply isnt just Aluminum + oxygen, they have different coeffficients to make it work Al is +3, whereas Oxygen is -2, so you gotta find the Least common multiple of those which is 6 so 6/3 2 and 6/2 3, so there are 2 Al for every 3 Oxygen 2x3 + 3x-2 0 Al2O3 is your compoundOther related question

just leave ur thoughts about the 2.0 aluminum macbook.fast? slow? good for surfing, chatting?? how about some games??using windows on it with dual boot?!?well i have a white macbook, and i think its goodThe aluminum one is similar so it should be great alsoThe cnet reviews are really good for it so thats a plusI like my macbook but one place where it needs a little help is with flashI dont know why but adobe uses very poor software for all macs and mac computers have trouble displaying flash content from the webThey can do it, but it takes lot of processor power and gets them hotI hope they get a update and fix thatfew good games for it, i have sims, gta, age of empiresI used the dual boot, its good, its fast and everythingOverall, i like this machine ive had it for abt 4 months, its greatone thing i have to say is that macs arent for everyoneSome ppl just wont like them because they will find that some of things might not be compatible with themanother thing is learning to use a mac, its different, it takes time getting all the things down.Other related question

| How do you broil chicken |

A lot of people claim that broiled chicken is healthyHow does one broil chicken? Everytime I cook chicken, it either turns out too dry, undercooked, or just plain blahAny suggestions?Well if you go with the exact broil it would be under the broiler unit on your stoveBut I don\'t like to mess around with that because if one little drop of fat hits the flame of heating element the fire alarm goes offSo to get around this I do with baking chicken pieces on the broiler rack so the fat drains offor you can place a chicken in one of those roasting racks for turkeysI use the temperature for roast chicken and teepee the chicken with aluminum foilremove the foil about half way thru cooking to brown it The skin has a lot of fat but baking will take a lot of the fat outIf you don\'t like the dry skin I\'d keep the foil covering my chickenRub your chicken with a tiny bit of oil and some grilling rub for unblah flavor, or just sprinkle on salt and pepperoven temp is about 325 deg and cook pieces for about 45 - 50 minutesAdjust this for your ovenNo two ovens are ever the sameA medium potato bakes in about the same time so wash and wrap some potatoes and bake them with the same oven heat Larger potatoes take longer so you could start them first and then put your chicken in the oven If you are baking a whole chicken go for 20 minutes per poundabout an hour an a half for a nice fryer.Other related question

We all know the history of the ever-shifting rationale (Sadam and Al Qaida, Sadaam and Osama, W.M.D.s, aluminum tubes, spreading freedom and democracy.etc.)I wouldn\'t expect Bush to ever tell us why he really wanted troops in Iraq, but are there even any more fake motives, plans or goals.anything but quot;We\'ll stay as long as we have to.quot;?well because oil reserves will be gone from north america by 2010would the number 1 super power give up it\'s holding simplying because it ran out of it\'s most vaulable resourcewe need oil right, well most oil comes form the middle eastsaudi arabia has alot of oil, but they are our allies, and they have alot of money, and regional supportso it\'d be hard to take there oilkuwait, dubai, quarter are just way too smallyemen is too dangerous Turkey is democratic and would have to agree to any oil take overIran is bitterly against us, and is a very modern and strong country which leaves Iraqiraq is america investment for the futureIraq was weakend by the 8 year war with iran and never recovered becuase of sanctions and 12 years of bombings under clintonthe Ba ath party has few alliesbasically iraq was the easest and most logical target for more bases and more power and more oil in the regionthe war is just simple polotics, it\'s either claim a stake, or become a runner up to asiaand there is no solution, besides admiting we are wrong and letting go of our grip on the worldOther related question

Can someone tell me how many protons, neutrons, electrons, and valence electrons aluminum has? Also is the number of valence electrons included in the number of electrons? Like if an element has 17 electrons total, the total number of valence electrons (7) is included in that right? So for a science project, if i\'m supposed to make a 3-D model of an atom and the atom i\'m making has 17 electrons would i put 17 electrons on it or 24 electrons on it?Thnx!Well as for the electrons, the valence are part of the total electrons, they are the outer electrons that can be sharedSo the total would be 13 electronsElectrons match the protons unless it is an ionAluminum has 13 Protons and 14 Neutrons and therefore must have 13 electronsAnd would have 3 valence.Other related question

Say you want to make a bikeis it possible to make a thin aluminum/titanium tube for the frame, and then put carbon fiber in the middle and then put a really thin coat of steel over the whole thing?- of course I\'m not gonna do that~ but is functional to combine materials like that?Welcome to the world of compositesYour idea is a bit of overkill and not terribly practicalCarbon fiber itself is a composite materialDepending on how you layer and weave the fibers and then glue them together can give you very different resultsTitanium, aside from a few trace elements added to alloy it, does not play well with other metals, is expensive to manufacture (LOTS of energy needed), and can be too flexible sometimesSteel, titanium, and aluminum are sometimes used as place holders (or lugs) for carbon fiber tubesSee the link below for an example of this kind of bikeThis uses the best materials at the appropriate placeSo your idea was not far off, just assembled in a less than optimal wayMy favorite news item was hearing how scientists are trying to make batteries using viruses! I can see future frames being laid down layer upon layer out of organic materials making the frame completely compost ready when you are finished with it making it completely recyclableOh, and did I mention that they would be electric bicycles where the frame is the battery too? Battery dead? No problem, just compost and recycle! Part of your old bike becomes part of your new bike!Other related question

and trying to control meWear a metal helmet when you are outdoorsA colander or an old WW2 army helmet with the secret radio receiver ripped out will work fineFor your home, lining the walls, floor, windows and doors with aluminum foil or sheets and grounding it will make a Faraday cageThis should block most of the weaker transmittersBut if the government notices a big chunky blob that is shielded, they will turn on the big units and concentrate beams at youThen you will have to go mobileNever use anything but public telephones and library computers for Internet.Other related question

OkA friend and I have this obsession with dinosaurs, and we want to do two projectsOne is a small fossil created from shaped pieces of aluminum foil in a shadow box, so we need to figure out what kind of glue would be bestWe also want to make a life size (ish lol) one with aluminum cansprobably around 3ft tall or sobut as realistic as possibleAny ideas on how to cut the cans and shape them without cutting ourselves?Wear gloves Get a good pair of tin snips rather than ruining some scissors - smaller heads, harder edgesGOOP Craft or Marine is a clear glue that can be used as a slow setting gel or as a contact cement - put it on, touch pieces, pull apart for 10-15 seconds, touch and they stayMarine is more UV protected.Other related question
