5 drops of aluminum nitrate is placed in a centrifuge tube6 drops of aqueous ammonia solution is then addedA precipitate forms.Explain what happenedWhat is the chemical identity of the precipitate? (hint: What IONIC species arise when NH3 is added to water? The precipitate forms because Al(3+) has combined with an anion.)Write TWO net ionic equations.Reaction 1 NH3 + H2O - NH4+ + OH- The ammonia in water turns the water solution basic Reaction 2 Al+3 + 3OH- - Al(OH)3 (s) Aluminum hydroxide is an insoluble precipitate.Other related question

Can I use a Pro Comp 6quot; suspension lift on my 2004 Ram 2500? I wasn\'t sure with the Off-Road package it has on it.real off roaders, this other answer is absolutely patheticIt seems as more of a rant than an answerPeople get lift kits for different reasons but one big reason is to run bigger tiresBigger tires helps with traction as well as adding clearancefor the other off roaders who play in the mud or whatever it be a lift kit is a good thing to haveAnywaysYour off road package should include most if not all of the following Off-Road package ($870-$1,405) with unique 17-inch aluminum wheels on LT275/70R17 off-road tires, 3.92 rear axle, limited-slip differential, skid plates for the transfer case and front suspension, special shocks, tow hooks, fog lamps, and a heavy-duty cooling systemThe lift you are looking at will not affect any of these parts except replace the shocksHope this helpsOther related question

hich of the following recycling operations (remaking from scrap) results in the biggest energy savings?Recycling aluminium saves 95% of the energy cost of processing new aluminiumThis is because the temperature necessary for melting recycled, nearly pure, aluminium is 600 °C, while to extract mined aluminium from its ore requires 900 °C.Other related question

it started leaking and then next day it didnt leak at all, and today it was leaking againIt is in the front really frontAny ideas please ? thanks.Red fluid is usually automatic transmission fluid, but it could be power steering fluidA lot of newer vehicles have a transmission fluid cooler built into the radiator, if your PT is like that, there will be 2 lines (probably aluminum tubing) going into and out of the side of the radiator, one of these could be be leakingCheck your transmission fluid level, and your power steering fluid level, if one of them is low that is probably where the fluid is coming from.Other related question

Ok, picked up some red rasperry leaf tea and alfalfa leaf tablets todayThe tablets are 1,000 mgSo how many should I take a day? Also, I need some information on the safety of Red Raspberry Leaf tea in the first trimester. Thanks a bunch!Red raspberry leaf is safe t/o the whole pregnancy Re the lactation while pregnant, you are just going to have to stick with it and see how it goesSome women have no problems, but most experience diminishing supply as the pregnancy progressesIf your supply starts to wane, I wonder (and this is just a thought) if you can seek hormonal supplement help from your doctorI know they can put pitocin (and prolactin?) in a saline aerosol inhaler (through the nose), but I\'m not sure if this would be safe or recommended during pregnancy, though as it can cause uterine contractions Take care and good luck!!!Other related question

Plz help me!!!Reflective insulation systems are fabricated from aluminum foils with a variety of backings such as kraft paper, plastic film, polyethylene bubbles, or cardboardThe resistance to heat flow depends on the heat flow direction, and this type of insulation is most effective in reducing downward heat flowReflective systems are typically located between roof rafters, floor joists, or wall studsIf a single reflective surface is used alone and faces an open space, such as an attic, it is called a radiant barrierRadiant barriers are installed in buildings to reduce summer heat gain and winter heat lossIn new buildings, you can select foil-faced wood products for your roof sheathing (installed with the foil facing down into the attic) or other locations to provide the radiant barrier as an integral part of the structureFor existing buildings, the radiant barrier is typically fastened across the bottom of joists, as shown in this drawingAll radiant barriers must have a low emittance (0.1 or less) and high reflectance (0.9 or more).Other related question

I believe I understand conversion somewhat, but I feel like a couple parts of the concept are sketchyRead my book, my teacher\'s notes, another teacher\'s lecture, and the quot;Idiot\'s Guide to.quot; but haven\'t found enough examples to pick it up.If someone could walk through this problem for me, I\'d be forever grateful! It covers all basic steps I thinkDo I need to convert the percentages? If I can get all the information to the density equation, I\'m home free.A ruby contains 52.7% aluminum and 47.1% oxygen with traces of chromiumIf the ruby was found to contain 0.125g of aluminum, what is the mass of the ruby? Also, if you know a good website, I\'d appreciate! I can\'t find any that give examples.Remember, that percent means parts per hundred, so you would have 52.7g of Al; 47.1g of Oxygen; and .2g of ChromiumThis would make your ruby 100gTo do your conversion start with what you have, which is .125g of Aland you know that for every 100g ruby you have 52.7g of Aluminum Heres how I would set up the problem: .125g Al x 100g Ruby/52.7g Al (The Al would cancel out leaving you with the mass of the ruby in grams.) I got that the ruby should weigh .237g If you used your answer of .237g to find out how many grams of Oxygen were in a ruby of that mass, it would look like this (remember we know how much oxygen is a ruby of 100g, so we can use that as a conversion factor): .237g Ruby x 47.1 g Oxygen/100g Ruby .112g Oxygen If you add this with the amount of Al, you get the mass of the ruby- .125g Al + .112 g O .237 As far as the unit conversions go, just remember that The units you want to finish with need to be on top Hope that helps!Other related question

Which is better: Recycling a plastic bottle or carrying a reusable container???Reusing is always better! It still takes quite a bit of energy to recycle (melt down all of the plastic at high heat, electricity for recycling plants, etc.), so if you can just reuse everything until it\'s unusable, that is the best way to go! For example, aluminum foil is recyclable, but I wash it and reuse it even before I recycle it until it has holes or is ripped! Same with ziplock bags, wash and reuse! reuse plastic grocery bags, or better yet, buy canvas bags and bring them to the store! use tupperware instead of sandwich bags, wash and reuse! you know the saying: Reduce Reuse Recycle do it in that order! Reduce the amount of things you usethen reuse themthen the last step is recycling them!Other related question
