This philosophy is aligned to our customers wishing to create a closed-loop recycling effect, encompassing the revert market for some of the more exotic metals such as titanium and nickel alloys.
[size=1]However, sometimes the mixing of scrap is unavoidable, and as a result we can also offer a wide range of secondary materials for use in a variety of end markets.

Aluminum wheels (sometimes called alloy wheels) are built with a blend of aluminum and nickel. The majority of wheels today are cast aluminum alloy, meaning they’re made by pouring molten aluminum into a mold. They are lightweight but strong, withstand heat well and are generally more attractive than steel wheels. They come in a very wide variety of finishes and sizes. Aluminum wheels are a good choice for a balance of performance, cost, aesthetics, and gas mileage.

| How does a metal roof compare in cost with other roofing materials? |

Classic Metal Roofs’s metal roofing systems are a homeowner’s most economical choice in the long run. Fact is, when you look at the entire gamut of roofing materials, there is a huge variety in terms of products, price points, benefits, and life expectancies. However, as is the case with most anything else you purchase as a consumer, you get what you pay for when it comes to roofing.
The exact price of any roofing project is determined by the materials being used and the roof’s complexity, and whether the installation can be achieved without removing and disposing of the old roof. Metal roofing, of course, can often be installed over old roofs, allowing property owners to invest money in a superior roof rather than spend money to tear off and dispose of old roofing materials.
Classic Metal Roofs has designed our roof systems to be “investment-grade roofing.” Homeowners can opt for cheaper roofs and then have to maintain and replace those roofs regularly. However, for homeowners who want a beautiful and worry-free roof that will maintain its good looks for the long term, Classic Metal Roofs’s roofing fits the bill. “Exotic” roofs such as slate and glazed tile are more costly than our products and, because those products last no longer than our metal roofs, they ultimately end up with a higher cost per year.
The careful engineering which has gone into Classic Metal Roofs’s metal roofing results in energy savings, increased home value, unmatched protection, and durability. The bottom line for homeowners is a roof with an unmatched value which is today’s most economical roofing choice over time. This makes sense for today’s homeowners because, after all, when we invest in our homes, long-term value is what we are all seeking.

"Scrap metal" means any metal that is no longer used for its original purpose and is capable of being processed for reuse by a metal recycling facility. This includes, but is not limited to, iron, brass, wire, cable, copper, bronze, aluminum, platinum, lead, solder, steel, stainless steel, catalytic converters, or other similar obsolete metals. Aluminum cans are not scrap metal.

Stainless steel goes through many steps before it becomes the metal we’re all familiar with. To start, raw metals (see the previous question) are melted down with high heat until they combine to become a single material. When the melting is finished, the molten steel is cast into preliminary molds that aid in getting the steel from its molten form to its end shape. Once they’re removed from the molds, these raw steel shapes can be fashioned into many forms, from thin wires to massive slabs. This versatility is one of the reasons that stainless steel is one of the most widely used materials in the world.

Stainless steel (also known as “inox steel”) is used in many modern applications because of its remarkable strength, temperature resistance, and ability to resist corrosion and rust. These qualities make stainless steel ideal for use in a wide variety of products, from kitchen knives to construction materials. The stainless steel industry has grown an average of 5% between 1980 and today, and production of stainless steel has increased by over 4000% since its introduction in the 1950s!
