ALUMINIUM IS THE MOST HYGIENIC METAL FOR COOKWARE
The British Medical Journal states that:
“Aluminium is the best metal next to Gold and Platinum for cooking. It is even better than Silver.”
The first question about the safety of Aluminium Cooking utensils surfaced soon after the utensils became available in the year 1890. Reportedly, many of these questions were raised by people selling utensils made of competing metals.
According to a study conducted at the University of Wisconsin, the average adult diet includes between 20 to 60 milligrams of aluminium per day. 20 -50 milligrams come from food additives. Another 2-10 milligrams come from the natural contents of the food eaten.
By comparison under conditions of maximum usage, metallic aluminium cookware can add only a maximum of 3.5 milligrams per day in our intake. In contrast one antacid tablet may contain 50 milligrams of more aluminium. It is not unusual for a person with an upset stomach to consume more than 1,000 milligrams of aluminium in one day.
The World Health Organization and the United States Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) recognize the value of aluminium in these drugs with the full knowledge that the aluminium is going directly in the body.
It is because Aluminium is non- hazardous and creates an effective barrier against water, microbes, oxygen ,light and other gases.
This ensures that there is no change in the formulation of medicine.
