Aluminum elbows alloy model can be divided into 1060 aluminium elbow, 6061 aluminium elbow, 6063 aluminium elbow, 6082 aluminium elbow, 5083 aluminium elbow, etc. below, we take 6061 aluminium elbow as an example to explain its process and chemical composition:
aluminum elbows
The 6061 is the high quality aluminum elbows aluminum alloy heat treatment production pre stretching process, although its strength and not 2 series or other series compared to, but the characteristics of magnesium and silicon alloy, has excellent processing properties, excellent welding characteristics and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, high toughness, deformation and processing after the material is dense and defect free and easy polishing, color film is easy, excellent oxidation effect and excellent characteristics.

The main alloy elements of 6061 aluminum elbows are magnesium and silicon, and form Mg2Si phase. If a certain amount of manganese and chromium, can neutralize the bad effect of iron; sometimes add a small amount of copper or zinc, to improve the strength of the alloy, and the corrosion resistance decreased significantly; there is a small amount of copper conductive materials, titanium and iron to offset the adverse effects on the conductivity of the zirconium; or titanium recrystallization grain refinement and control; in order to improve the cutting performance, adding lead and bismuth. In Mg2Si solution, the alloy has artificial aging hardening function. The main alloy elements in 6061 aluminum alloy are magnesium and silicon, which have moderate strength, good corrosion resistance and weldability, and the oxidation effect is better.
