The different heating methods of the UV aging tester need to be mastered urgently!
The ultraviolet aging test uses a fluorescent ultraviolet lamp as the light source. By simulating the ultraviolet radiation and condensation in the natural sunlight, the accelerated weather resistance test is performed on the material to obtain the weather resistance result of the material; it can simulate the ultraviolet, rain, high temperature, and high temperature in the natural climate. Environmental conditions such as high humidity, condensation, darkness, etc., are combined into a cycle by reproducing these conditions, and let it automatically execute the number of cycles.
The UV aging tester is manufactured in accordance with the current GB/T UV aging test standards. It is suitable for plastics, rubber, coatings, inks, paints, resins, printing and packaging, adhesives, automobile and motorcycle industries, cosmetics, medicine, metals, and electronics. , Electroplating, aerospace and other fields.
There are two heating methods generally used by UV aging testing machines, namely, air heating and water vapor heating. These two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. When choosing, we mainly look at the characteristics of the test product. Let’s talk about the two heating methods. Make a difference:
The two heating methods of the UV aging tester are to increase the temperature in the cavity. Generally, the aging temperature is about 65°C, which can be reached by both water and air. If the temperature is above 80°C, then the water must not reach the temperature. When it comes, there is no such temperature requirement for light aging, so here is the standard aging test. As far as the temperature rise rate of the UV aging test machine is concerned, air heating is relatively faster than water heating, because after we have heated water, steam will be generated to transfer the heat to the air, and air heating is the hot air carrying heat in the UV Forced circulation in the aging testing machine, rapid heat transfer.
When many products are undergoing UV aging test, humidity has a great influence on the surface of the product, especially some products such as coatings. This is stipulated in the national standard. For standard testing machines, it is emphasized that The aging test is carried out in rain, condensation and high humidity environment, and high humidity is achievable for non-standard ultraviolet aging testing machine, that is, steam heating method, along with humidity, relative to wind heating method, There is one more steam heating function, which can simultaneously achieve high-temperature and high-humidity UV aging tests. Of course, if the aging of the product is mainly affected by light and temperature, then both methods are possible.
