A <strong>colored
aluminum sheet metal</strong> is developed in order to improve the abrasion resistance and enhance the decorative effect of the sheet surface. Oxidization and coloring on the surface not only makes an
aluminium plate more corrosion resistant and endurable, but also helps to save costs efficiently. </div>

Before being colored, an
aluminum sheet should first be oxidized. The full name for the process is anodic oxidation, which is process of generating an oxide film on
aluminum alloy sheets (functioning as the anode) under the corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions due to the applied current under the corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions. The functions of anodizing process are to strengthen hardness and rust resistance of the sheets surface. Following the anodizing process, the coloring process can be carried out in three ways.<br>

<div>
1. Chemical coloring: An
aluminum plate that has undergone the oxidation treatment is immersed in an organic or inorganic dye solution, and the dye penetrates into the pores of the oxide film to undergo chemical or physical action to be colored. Chemical coloring is simple in operation, low in cost, and rich in color, but has poor light and corrosion resistance, mostly used for interior decoration.</div>

</div>
<div>
2. Electrolytic coloring: The oxidized
aluminum plate undergoes a secondary electrolysis in a single metal salt or multiple metal salt aqueous solution. Under the action of an electric field, aluminum cations penetrate into the pores of the oxide film and are deposited on the bottom of the pores, thereby the oxide film produces bronze, brown, gray, and red, cyan, and blue hues.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
3. Natural coloring: This is a method for coloring
aluminum sheets during anodizing. There are alloy color method and solution color method. The former is to control the composition of
aluminum alloys to obtain different color tones, and the latter, also called electrolytic coloring method, controls the color of electrolyte components and electrolytic conditions. In actual production, natural coloring generally uses organic acids as the electrolyte, and a small amount of sulfuric acid is added to adjust the pH.</div>

In these ways, a plain
aluminum sheet turns into a <strong>decorative
aluminium sheet</strong> of desired color. Haomei supplies colored
aluminum sheet metals of 1xxx, 3xxx and 5xxx series. Welcome to contact us!</div>
