Is aluminium found as a pure metal? - hmwadeseo - 05-23-2022

No, apart from in small quantities in volcanoes. Bauxite is the most important aluminium ore mined for producing the pure metal. A few metals such as gold are found native or alloyed with other metals.

No, Al is quite reactive, actually more reactive than Cu and Fe, and it is thus the reason why Al comes into play only until the very recent time(hundreds years ago) while Cu and Fe have found their way to application long time ago(thousands of years ago)

P.S Actually even Fe and Cu are hard to be found in pure state naturally thus you can safely deduct that Al can't be found as pure metal

Actually Nope, because aluminum was quite reactive ( reactivity series) and exist as metal oxide, conversly, it is found on the earth’s crust as aluminium oxide, Al2O3. in fact, aluminium ore namely bauxite in order to get pure aluminum, Al. You have to extract bauxite by electrolysis (decomposition of aluminium oxide into aluminium and oxide) through Hall-Heroult process in industrial terms.
