7 series aluminum alloys are aluminum magnesium zinc copper alloys, mainly zinc, but sometimes a small amount of magnesium and copper are added. Superhard aluminum alloy contains zinc, lead, magnesium and copper alloys, which is close to the hardness of steel.
7 series aluminum alloys are heat treatable alloys, belonging to superhard aluminum alloys, with good wear resistance, slower extrusion speed than 6 series alloys and good welding performance.
7 series aluminum alloy also belongs to Aviation series, and its application scope: Aviation (aircraft load-bearing components, landing gear), rocket, propeller and aerospace.

7 series alloy aluminium sheet:zinc mainly, but sometimes also a small amount of magnesium, copper. Among them, super hard alloy is the hardness of the alloy containing zinc, lead, magnesium and copper alloy approaching to steel. The extrusion speed is slower than that of the 6 series alloy, and the welding performance is good. 7005 and 7075 aluminium sheet plate are the highest grade in the 7 series, which can be enhanced by heat treatment. Applications: Aviation (aircraft bearing components, landing gear), rocket, propeller, air vehicle.

Characteristics
7000 series commercial aluminium alloys utilises zinc as the major alloying element and when combined with a smaller amount of magnesium, the result is a heat-treatable alloy which offers very high strength. 7075 for example, is one of the highest strength commercial aluminium alloys available and is used widely in applications such as high stressed parts and air frames. The corrosion resistance of the alloy is reduced due to the inclusion of zinc and magnesium, so copper is often introduced into the alloy to improve corrosion resistance.
