Is aluminum cookware bad for you? - Keganhirl - 12-02-2021 No. There was a disproved theory a couple of decades ago that aluminum caused Alzheimer's disease because there were cells with unusually large amounts of it in the brain. Since then it has been determined that the aluminum is the result of the disease process, not the cause of it. If you can not avoid using aluminium in cooking, just take care that you should not have it contacting acid foods like taomatoes. Regular using of aluminium foil and aluminium cookware is safe. |
