What is aluminium shate - lolitahe69 - 10-16-2020 Aluminium shate are heavy gauge products up to a thickness of 12 mm, and width up to 2500 mm. Typical alloys are 5083, 5086, 5454, 5754 and 5186. We developed these products to meet customer demand for specific applications in: Heavy goods vehicles, such as road tankers, dry bulk transporters and tipper bodies Silo and storage tank constructions Ship and yacht building We tailor the thickness of the shate products, as well as their width, and supply them mainly in sheets, according to the application desired. Because the best product for truck walls or bodies may be different than the ones used for the silo containing granulates or chemicals, or for hull constructions.
