Aluminium Sheet metal is flexible metal sheeting that can be cut, designed, and shaped into almost anything you can image. With the help of an experienced sheet metal worker. The reason you can shape it into pretty much anything is because it is made into thin flat pieces or Aluminium sheets. These metal Aluminium sheets come in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses since it is used to make a large variety of items in multiple industries.

The thinner Aluminium metal sheeting is often called foil or leaf. On the other hand, the thicker sheet metal is commonly referred to as plate. In the United States, the thickness of the metal is measured as a gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the thicker the metal. Then as the gauge number increases, the Aluminium sheet metal will become thinner. Commonly used gauges can range anywhere from 30 to 7. These gauge numbers will differ depending on the material. For example, there are iron based metals called ferrous as well as nonferrous metals that contain copper or aluminum.
Aluminium Sheet metal can be formed from many different metals. Some of which include tin, steel, nickel, titanium, copper, brass, aluminum, silver, gold, and platinum. The specific type of metal used will be determined according to requirements of the sheet metal object.

Haomei are suppliers of aluminium sheet metal and plate available in a range of sheet thickness and in standard sheet sizes up to 2.5 metres x 1.25 metres or we can supply pieces cut to your required dimensions; simply enter the measurements into the ‘custom cut’ boxes during ordering online, select the units of measurement, and we will do the hard work.

Our standard aluminium sheet is the most widely used form of aluminium and is used for light fabrications, truck and trailer repairs, car body panels, enclosures, machine building, and extensively in construction, aerospace, and defence applications.

The aluminium sheet range is available in 1050, 3003, and 5754 grades which have excellent corrosion properties ranked as good to excellent.

Aluminium is lightweight and has a good strength to weight ratio. Sheets can be cut using a jigsaw with the correct blade, on a guillotine, or very thin sheets can be cut using a sharp blade or tin snips.

Aluminium sheet is  straightforward to form or bend using hand tools or a bending brake. Fabrication is easy as these products can be welded or joined using rivets and other traditional fasteners; it is also extremely easy to drill and machine which makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of projects.
