A brushed aluminium strip is also known as a hairline aluminium strip, obtained by mechanical friction or extrusion on the aluminum strip surface to produce straight lines. The lines can be made into straight lines, cross lines, random lines, threads, ripples and spiral patterns according to the decoration needs.

 Straight Lines

Straight lines are obtained by mechanically rubbing on the surface of an aluminum strip. It has the dual functions of brushing the scratches on the outside of the strip and decorating the surface of the strip. There are two types of straight-line drawing: continuous and intermittent. The continuous silk pattern can be obtained by continuous horizontal and linear rubbing on the surface of the aluminium strip with a clean cloth or stainless steel brush (such as manual grinding under the condition of the existing equipment or using a planer to clamp the wire brush on the aluminum plate). By changing the diameter of the stainless steel wire, different thicknesses can be obtained. Intermittent silk patterns are generally processed on a brushing or wiping machine.

 Cross Lines

It is usually processed on a brushing machine or a texturing machine. The aluminum strip passes through two sets of rollers, and the surface of the strip is pressed with a cross pattern.

 Random Lines

Under the high-speed running copper wire brush, an irregular, matte silk pattern obtained by moving the aluminum strip back and forth, left and right, and friction. This processing has higher requirements on the appearance of aluminium strips.

 Ripple Lines

It is usually made on a brushing machine or a wiping machine. Using the axial movement of the upper set of grinding rollers, the surface of the aluminum strip is brushed to obtain a wave pattern.

 Spiral Patterns

Also called optical rotation, a kind of silk pattern obtained by rotating cylindrical polishing felt or grinding stone nylon wheels on a drilling machine, blending polishing paste with kerosene, and rotating and polishing the appearance of aluminum strips. Mostly used for decorative processing of circular signs and small decorative dials.

 Threads

Use a small motor with a circular felt on the shaft to fix it on the table, at an angle of about 60 degrees to the edge of the table, and make a tray with a fixed aluminum strip for pressing tea. Straight polyester film is used to limit thread race. Utilizing the rotation of the felt and the linear movement of the carriage, the surface of the strip is rotated to wipe out a thread pattern with a uniform width. Of course, it should be brushed before plating.
