  1. Good Formability</p>

  When the outer cover of cars and vehicles is stamped and flanged, the resistance of the plate to cracking is called flanging ductility. Therefore, the 5083-h321 aluminum plate is required to have good flanging ductility to ensure that no cracking occurs during flanging. The flanging ductility of the sheet is related to its total elongation, and also to the internal organization of the material. Flanging ductility can be tested by cold bending test, but the common cold bending does not take into account the strain rate sensitivity, and the deformation is faster and the strain rate is larger when stamping the flanging, which has higher requirements for flanging ductility.</p>
