I have been filing the mouth cover for an aluminum soda canI tried throwing some on a burning lighterIt burned kinda white so I think it is aluminum but im not sure, Help plz.The bigger question here is, Why the hell are you making thermite? As far as I know, soda cans are a reasonable source of pure aluminiumAs long as you make sure they are clean and dry before you start, you should be able to get pure aluminium powder out of it FFS though, be careful.Other related question
