5052 aluminium round discs are of the best performances in all regular aluminum circle alloys. The 5052 aluminum disc is an AL-Mg series alloy and is the most widely used type of rust-proof aluminum. Because magnesium is the main alloying element of 5052 aluminum, the strength of 5052 is high, especially the fatigue strength. In addition to magnesium, other alloy elements are added to the 5052 aluminum wafer, which also contains a small amount of manganese, chromium, beryllium, titanium, etc. In addition to a small amount of solid solution, the manganese in the alloy mostly forms MnAl6. The effect of chromium is similar to that of manganese. It improves the resistance to stress corrosion cracking, increases the strength of the base metal and the weld, and reduces the tendency of welding cracks, but its content generally does not exceed 0.35%. 5052 aluminum has high plasticity and corrosion resistance, and can not be strengthened by heat treatment. The plasticity is good during semi-cold work hardening, and the plasticity is low when cold work hardening, which can be polished.
The thickness of 5052 aluminum discs is from 0.5mm to 6.0mm. We supply tempers of O, H12, H22, H14, H24, H32 etc. The diameter ranges between 100mm and 1300mm, but mostly from 200mm to 800mm. The discs are low in density, light in weight, good in tensile strength, strong in fatigue ability, high in crystal particle and smooth in surface. Used in high end cooking utensils like pressure containers and non-stick cookers, 5052 aluminum discs blank can be further processed by anodizing, PVDF coating, PE coating and so on. We have anodized aluminum circles, and our coating lines are under preparation. There is no doubt that we will be able to supply pre-painted aluminum discs soon.
