Aluminum strip/foil is processed by aluminum-coil slitting process.It is an important raw material in industry.
Aluminum strip /foil and aluminum plate are divided into 8 series according to the different alloying elements in the aluminum strip.
Depending on the annealing state of the aluminum strip/foil, the aluminum strip/foil can be divided into soft (O-temper) half-hard (H24) hard (H18). At present the most commonly used should belong to the soft series, because the O state is easier to stretch and bend .
The main processing equipment of the aluminum strip/foil is the dividing unit, which can be divided into the required length and width according to the need. Of course, the processing equipment is universal, can also be used for processing copper coils,and the processed products called copper tape or coil strip.

Heavy gauge foil is in thickness of 0.1-0.2 mm.
Medium gauge Foil's thickness between 0.01-0.1mm.
Light gauge foil's thickness is usually between 0.005~0.009mm.
Heavy gauge aluminum foil is widely used for air conditioner , condenser fins , transformer winding as well as reactors.
Medium gauge aluminum foil and light gauge aluminum foil are mainly used for packing,lamination and printing.
Aluminum strip/foil used for transformer winding is plain aluminum foil,while aluminum foil for packing are mainly color coated aluminum foil.
Packaging aluminum foil mainly includes 1000,3000,8000 series aluminum foil products.The common grade are 1050,1060,3003,8011, alloy tempers are commonly H14, H16, H18 .
