Aluminum round sheet is a common metal material, which is a circular thin sheet formed by hot-rolling or cold-rolling aluminum ingots, with a thickness generally between 0.2 and 500 millimeters and a diameter between 200 and 1600 millimeters. Aluminum wafers have the following advantages and disadvantages:
advantage:
Lightweight, with a density of only 2.7 grams per cubic centimeter, about one-third that of iron, making it easy to transport and process.
Corrosion resistant, aluminum discs can form a dense oxide film on their surface, preventing erosion by air, water, and chemicals, and extending their service life.
Good conductivity and thermal conductivity. The conductivity of aluminum discs is about 62% of that of copper, and the thermal conductivity is about four times that of iron, making them suitable for making electrical appliances, heat sinks, and so on.

Strong plasticity, aluminum circular plates can be processed into various shapes and specifications of products through extrusion, die-casting, stamping, and other methods to meet different needs.
Recyclable, aluminum wafers are a renewable resource that can be reused after recycling, saving energy and materials.
Disadvantages:
Low strength, the tensile strength and hardness of aluminum discs are relatively low, and they are not resistant to wear and impact. They need to be improved through alloying or surface treatment.
Easy to oxidize and discolor, aluminum wafers will gradually darken or whiten after long-term exposure to air, affecting aesthetics and performance. Regular cleaning or coating protection is required.
Easy to stick and weld, aluminum discs are prone to sticking with cutting tools or molds during processing, causing scratches or fractures, requiring lubrication or application of isolation agents.
Stress corrosion cracking is prone to occur. Under the combined action of tensile stress and corrosive media, aluminum circular plates will produce fine cracks on the surface or inside, reducing strength and toughness.
Application scenario:
Aluminum wafers are widely used in various fields due to their excellent performance and wide range of applications, such as:
Food packaging, aluminum wafers can be made into various packaging containers such as food cans, boxes, and bottles, which have functions such as moisture resistance, oxygen resistance, light resistance, and preservation.
Architectural decoration, aluminum wafers can be made into various building materials, such as roofs, walls, doors and windows, curtain walls, etc., with the characteristics of lightweight, aesthetics, and durability.
In transportation, aluminum wafers can be made into various components of transportation tools, such as the body, wheels, engines, etc. of cars, trains, planes, ships, etc., which have the advantages of reducing weight, saving fuel consumption, and improving speed.
