Battery aluminum foil is used as a collector for lithium-ion batteries. Generally, the lithium ion battery industry uses rolled aluminum foil as a positive electrode current collector. Rolled foil thicknesses range from 10 to 50 microns. Commonly used lithium battery pure aluminum foils are 1060, 1050, 1145, 1235 and other alloy grades, -O, H14, -H24, -H22, -H18 and other states.
Lithium batteries usually have two types: cylindrical and square. The inside of the battery is a spiral wound structure. A very fine and highly permeable polyethylene film separator is used to separate the positive and negative electrodes. The positive electrode includes a current collecting electrode composed of lithium cobaltate (or nickel-cobalt lithium manganate, lithium manganate, lithium ferrous phosphate, etc.) and aluminum foil. The negative electrode consists of a current collecting electrode composed of graphitized carbon material and copper foil. The battery is filled with an organic electrolyte solution, and a safety valve and a PTC element (partially cylindrical) are also installed to protect the battery from damage during abnormal conditions and output short circuits.
Battery aluminum foil Quality requirements:
1, The surface color of Battery aluminum foil is uniform, clean, and flat, and there is no obvious roll marks, pits, pinholes, or corrosion marks;
2, The surface of Battery aluminum foil is free of rolling defects such as creases, speckles and bright lines;
3, There is no color difference on the surface of Battery aluminum foil;
4, no oil on the surface, no serious oil smell, no oil spots visible to the naked eye;
5, surface tension, dyne pen test is not less than 32 dyne;
Battery aluminum foil Appearance requirements:
1, the aluminum foil coil is moderately tight, the end surface is flat and clean, and the edge is smooth;
2, the wrong layer of aluminum foil must not exceed ± 1.0mm;
3, the aluminum foil roll core width is greater than or equal to the foil width, generally the length of the two ends of the core does not exceed the foil width 5mm;
4, aluminum foil should be wound around the center of the die;
5. The joints have clear joint marks on the two ends of the aluminum coil.
